Way 4.3

When we bought it, we headed straight to the comfort room in the mall and change. He is very pleased when he saw me wearing it, he pulled me and said that we took a photo in the booth.

“Come on, you select a background.” he said excitedly while I press the screen in the booth.

“Here,” I said. “Not that, that is so gay. Butterflies? Please no.” He said. “What about this?” I ask. “Hearts?” He look at me awfully.

“Then what do you want? Don’t ask me if you don’t want my suggestion.” He is so stubborn, he don’t like what I choose.

“Okay, heart it is.” He click it and set it to five shots, “Ok, 1,2,3!”

The shots are continues, every three seconds we should change our pose.

First pose, we simple smile. Second pose, we showed our tongue and our hands with a rock and roll sign. Third pose, peace sign while his peace sign is on top on my head that looks like horn. Fourth pose, wacky. We rolled our eyes and twisted our tongues, and our hands is everywhere. But in the fifth shot, I did not expext our pose. He suddenly kiss me on my cheeks and went out hurriedly to take the shots. I’m left inside while I touch my cheeks where he kissed.

“Look! Our shots are nice!” I woke up from my daze why heard his loud voice outside. I slap both of my cheeks and compose myself then I went out. I saw him cutting the photos then hands me the five copies, “I made two copies each, I’ll give you the other copies.”

I took it and look at it, I really feel uncomfortable looking at the fifth pose.

Don’t lose that, I’ll paste the fifth photo on the back of my cellphone. He took the fifth photo and put it at the back of his phone and showed it to me, “Tadaaa!”

I just turn away because I feel like I’m blushing or something, I don’t know why, “Come on! Let’s go to the that I saw earlier!” I said to change topic because I want to forget about the 5th photo. I can still feel his lips on my cheeks.

When we are at the karaoke we just laugh and laugh. Trey is tone-deaf but he is feeling singer anyway. He is singing at the top of his voice, luckily we are at the karaoke room and its sound proof, that’s why it’s okay to be loud.  He really feels like a singer, he is pleased to see that the karaoke machine give him 98 or 99 points and told him ‘you’re awesome!’. Even though I said that karaokes are like that, but he don’t want to believe me. He said that, he is really just good at singing.

I laugh at his antics. I told him I’ll just buy something to eat at the counter outside.

When I just has gotten out, I did not expect to see someone. In the adjacent room, someone also came out at the same time. There are two of them, and I know them. My eyes open bigger and I turned pale.

They turn at me and saw me, I notice that Allen was also surprise. The girl with him saw that he look surprise and look at me.

“Babe, do you know her?” the girls hand was on Allen’s waist.

“Ah, y-yeah. Our schoolmate.” schoolmate? That’s cool. I thought sarcastically.”

“Oh really? Hi!” she greeted me and smiled, “Are you also from our school? I did not see you before, what year are you? Are you Allen’s friend? By the way I’m Lala, if you are Allen’s friend I also hope to be your friend. Because I want all of my boyfriend friends to be my friend.”

She smiles at me, her smile pure and she looks nice. She’s beautiful and looks kind, no wonder Allen left me for her. She’s perfect and I’m way different than her, I’m nothing compared to her.

“A-ah, hehe. Nice meeting you L-lala.” I stammered when I said her name. I’m tense.

“Sena you forgot your wallet! How can you buy if you don’t have–” Trey suddenly appeared and he stop talking when he saw who I’m talking with.

“Ah Trey,” says Allen.

“Oh Allen, it’s you.”

 “Who is he Allen?” Lala ask again.

“He is Trey my classmate.” Allen answered.

“Hi Trey, I’m Lala.” Lala’s kind introduction. She is really friendly, maybe that’s why Allen like her. Why are they in front of me? Why is the girl he choose so perfect? Why can’t I see any thing to criticize her? It hurts.

“Ah, hello Lala.” Trey forcefully smile. I know he understand the situation that’s why he also feel awkward. Lala was the only one who is clueless.

“You two going out? I’m glad for you guys.” did Allen just congratulate me or something? He’s glad to see me with another guy. Isn’t he jealous or what? I hope that, at least he will get even just a little bit. Even just a little.

“No he is not, he’s just my friend.” I answered directly, I did not let Trey to answer, “What about you?”

“Yeah, Lala’s my girlfriend.” he also answered straightly, he don’t think about me anymore wether I’m hurt or not.

I flinched a bit, but I controlled myself, I smiled and said, “I’m happy for you guys.”

“We will go ahead before you.” I just pass them and once I get out of the karaoke, I run like crazy.

Trey called me but I did not look back. I just want to run, run as fast as I can, run to wherever my feet drag me, run as long as I can. I just need to run right now because if I stop, I might cry. Why did they show up when I’m having fun just to forget them. Why?

This sucks, I’m always the one who is crying? Why do I always cry? What did I do to deserve this kind of pain. It hurts.
