Chapter 369

Editor: Tide

“Hmph! I’m the strongest one here! All of you can go die!”

“You bitch, don’t get ahead of yourself just because you’re prettier than me!”

“So what if I’m just a concubine’s daughter? Just which part of myself is worse than you? Don’t get ahead of yourself!”

Chaotic shrieks surrounded her, all of them trapped in their own world as if they were possessed .

“Shut up! I’m going to kill all of you!” After Huang Beiyue yelled, she was suddenly held tight by a pair of arms . In the depths of her nightmare, she saw the same terrible scenes, making her unable to calm down and instead cry for revenge!

“Huang Beiyue, calm down!”

“Let go of me! I’ll kill those ungrateful dogs! I’ll kill all of them!” she shrieked .

“It’s just an illusion, wake up!” The same anxious voice echoed in her ears, and suddenly a golden tiger cub leaped through the air and caught a small creature in its mouth .

“Ah!” The little thing screamed in horror as it was bitten by the tiger . After a moment of struggling, it grew quiet .

At the same time Huang Beiyue, who had been in a frenzy, suddenly froze . She calmed and fell limply into the arms of Feng Lianyi .

Opening her dazed eyes, she found not the heavy rain of the city, but instead a dark forest .

Feng Lianyi’s handsome yet worried face stared at her . “Are you okay?”

Huang Beiyue looked at him with trembling lips and red, watering eyes . For the first time in years, her fragile expression held unbelievable sorrow and melancholy .

Feng Lianyi painstakingly looked at her and his heart stung . He embraced her in his arms, patted her on the back and softly said, “It’s okay, it’s just a dream . ”

“A dream?” Huang Beiyue replied with a trembling voice . ”That wasn’t a dream!”

Feng Lianyi reassured her and whispered, “It was an illusion woven by the dream-weaving beast . It’ll trap people in a realm of their most painful memories and fears until they lose all sense of rationality and attempt to kill everybody else trapped in the world with them . ”

Huang Beiyue bit her lips, took a few deep breaths, and forcefully swallowed a mouthful of saliva; her body was still violently trembling .

“Damn dream weaver!” she cursed . The memory that Beiyue had wanted to escape from for so long had reappeared right in front of her .

The little dream weaver was still squirming in the tiger’s mouth, and seeing this, the remaining dream weavers became frightened and fled one after another .

The students and teachers who had fought each other in her dreams were now peacefully sleeping on the ground in the real world .

Everybody had unexpectedly fallen into the dream weaver’s trap, including Elder Nangong, who almost killed a student in the nightmarish dream! Fortunately, the tiger had caught the dream weaver in time . Otherwise, the consequences would’ve been disastrous!

Some of the students, however, were injured .

Huang Beiyue roughly pushed herself away from the embrace of Feng Lianyi and regained her typical frigid demeanor, although her face was unnaturally pale .

She turned around and wriggled the dream weaver from the mouth of the tiger . The dream weaver was only slightly bigger than her fist and was wrapped in several petals that opened to reveal a pair of big eyes that looked up fearfully .
