Here, the zombies definitely numbered far more than ten thousand . The vast number of zombies made it look as though they had poured out from the horizon like a black wave .

(TN: I have no clue on what that saying is . It’s literally saying a population of a 100 thousand is boundless . )

If, the zombies numbered a few hundred or a few thousand, two 70mm high explosives right in the center would empty out 2 10m circles . If they were lucky, it would also induce a temporary mess in the zombie horde and disrupt their moving speed .

And it was only possible in a situation whereby a sea of zombies that comprised of countless zombies moved together that two powerful and high explosives would be like two stones dropping into a marsh . Aside from a few ripples, it would not leave a trace .

Looking at the endless sea of zombies, Zhang Xiao Qiang became somewhat confused . He was confident in the might of the Type-92 mortars, which he used to destroy the rats . The rat tide was nowhere smaller than the zombie horde, and the rats were even faster than them .

But it was different for the zombies, although their bodies had lost most of the moisture content, they still weight at least 10kg . The force produced by the explosive was absorbed by the surrounding zombies . As the zombie horde moved constantly, the empty space produced by the explosion was quickly covered up .

At a location where Zhang Xiao Qiang had no vision of, a half-meter bomb crater emitted smoke . Various zombie limbs were scattered in the vicinity, mixed with charred soil . The air around the crater was slightly distorted due to the heat, and behind this slightly distorted space, a wall of darkness moved extremely slowly .

It was a large zombie with black and dried skin . The two large hands with blades as claws gave off sinister auras . This zombie was not fast and slowly moved like a wall, towards the edge of the crater where a Type-D zombie with half of is body remaining struggled on the ground .

It used its two strong and powerful arms to crawl on the ground . After losing its two legs and the ability to stand on its own, it crawled and howled, constantly receiving the response from other Type-D zombies around . All the zombies around moved on silently, while this particular zombie continued crawling, crawling towards an unknown location .

Concentrated rows of parallel black thighs appeared behind its back . These countless zombies inched forward as soles slowly pushed off the ground, where only darkness could be seen between the spaces of the legs . No one knew how many zombies were following along and moving together, just that this black wall of zombies trampled over the Type-D zombie .

The Type-D Zombie grabbed onto a leg and pulled the owner down with it . Before the ordinary zombie could even struggle up, countless legs trampled over them . That was how half a Type-D zombie and the ordinary zombie drowned to death .

A zombie stumbled into the crater as it stepped into it . Another zombie followed behind . Following that, the same wall of zombies trampled over them, to the point that they became a filler for the crater .

Layers upon layers, rows upon rows of zombies formed the horde that resembled a silent army . The zombies, like a mountain, staggered towards Zhang Xiao Qiang, making it feel as though the off-road vehicle he was on was merely a blade of grass on the mountain .

“DA… . . DA… . DA… . ” When the horde was 800m close, Zhang Xiao Qiang pulled the safety on the Type-54 12 . 7mm AA gun and fired at them . Zhang Xiao Qiang’s enhanced eyes and strength gave him the advantages to become a gifted firer . His spray with the gun was so accurate that it could be compared to a sniper .

Although the off-road vehicle was bumpy, Zhang Xiao Qiang’s sharpshooting skills were not affected in the least . The long and glowing 12 . 7mm bullets penetrated through the hordes . Every five bullets would follow up with a tracer round that unleashed a bright and dazzling light .

The front-most zombie instantly exploded into five pieces . Before the body parts even dropped to the ground, the zombie behind it had its chest blast apart . After the first zombie, four to five other zombies in the straight line were blown apart into incomplete corpses .

“BANG… . ” The high-velocity 12 . 7mm bullet penetrated a few zombies and finally exhausted its thrust . The slightly deformed bullet ignited the explosive within it and burst a zombie into pieces that burned and fell onto other zombies .

Of course, the amount of incendiary within the bullets did not amount to much, but the penetrative power of the 12 . 7mm bullets was not something a 7 . 6mm bullet could possibly compare to . If a HMG was enough to unleash a wall of bullets to prevent zombies from taking a step closer, the 12 . 7mm AA gun was effective enough to be a meat grinder within a kilometer distance .

All the zombies that were tagged by Zhang Xiao Qiang were left as incomplete bodies, aside from a few lucky zombies that had their bodies split right into two . The majority of zombies had their limbs separated from their bodies, and every 12 . 7mm bullet Zhang Xiao Qiang unleashed was strong enough to penetrate through a minimum of three to five zombies, and even reach up to eight zombies .

The 12 . 7mm explosive bullets that were capable of penetrating through a 10mm steel plate at an 800m distance unleashed a storm of bullets that shredded the zombie horde . The zombies either exploded in flames, or their bodies were burst into multiple pieces .
