Not long afterwards, in order to achieve each of their personal goals, they got the certificate in a short time. If it were possible to return back in time, Gu Wei Yi would probably have not picked Lu Yuan Heng… Because he was extremely difficult!!!

 “What are you looking at me for? Do I have money in my face?”

 With those words, Gu Wei Yi choked and couldn’t come up with anything nice to say. She ended up just swallowing her saliva, His was a face known in society, moreover, his face is worth a lot. It was worth so much that she’ll forgive him this time.

 “Gu Wei Yi, were you able to get your property?”

 “Yeah, I got all of it. But now all of it is gone.”

In order to inherit her mother’s properties,  she instantly got married with Lu Yuan Heng. People who didn’t understand her predicament would think she loves money so much that she sold herself into marriage. In reality, she had a love and hate relationship with money. She loved it because you could resolve a lot of things with it, yet, she hated it because money has put her in this predicament.

 “Do you still have some for living expenses?

 “I don’t. But I can work part-time. Don’t worry.”

 Lu Yuan Heng smiled and slowed down and let the other car pass them by, “Since you’re married to me, we are on the same boat now. When I have so much, how could I let you not have what you need?”

“And so?”

 “Depend on me. Make sure you have something to eat.”

 Gu Wei Yi thought his words were reasonable, Lu Yuan Heng is after all, from the Lu Family; known by outsiders as the Third Young Master. Among those rich and powerful families, he had the most money. Being “associated” with him, she shouldn’t be afraid of spending some money.

 “That sounds reasonable.”

 “Why would I deceive you? Gu Wei Yi How much good fortune did you accumulate in your past lives that you ended up marrying me in this one?”

That is his bad luck, taking her as his wife in this lifetime, but she kept those words in her head and didn’t say anything.

 As the car continued on its route, she opened her bag, took out from inside a packet of cookies and popped one in her mouth.

 Lu Yuan Heng turned his head, snorted before saying, “You’re going to eat by yourself?”

 Gu Wei Yi immediately took a piece and stuffed it in his mouth, “This is a cheaply-priced food. Don’t blame me if you get diarrhea. I’m used to eating such cheap-priced stuff so I’m all right.”

 Lu Yuan Heng chewed it for a bit and swallowed, his brows knitted, “Strawberry?”

“I like it.”

 “I dislike strawberry the most.”

 “……”

Without understanding how things are over at the rich people’s end, Gu Wei Yi silently ate her strawberry-flavored cookies, taking two pieces at once.

After  she finished those off, she licked her fingers and threw the bag on the trash bin. She began to feel a little thirsty, the cookies were very dry.

She wanted to ask him to pull-over so she could get off to buy a bottle of water, but thought it would be too much of an inconvenience and with his temper, he probably would not be willing to.
