Battle Emperor - Chapter 15

I should also make note that Xie Ao Yu only seems to have a divergent flame prototype and not a full divergent flame. So I’m trying to reflect that now in future translations.

Chapter 15

“Bing Wu’s going to leave?” Xie Ao Yu looked at Bing Wu.

You Lan Ruo began to rise into the air without moving a muscle and flew straight to the top of the waterfall to enjoy the scenery. Her floaty manner was like a fairy’s.

There was an unspeakable elegance.

Xie Ao Yu looked on jealously. One day, he would also reach that level.

“Ao Yu.” Bing Wu’s pretty face was full of sadness.

Heng Duan Mountain Range was Qi Ao continent’s largest mountain range.

That soft and beautiful face looked even more charming, Bing Wu was already become mature, the slightest facial expression could cause ripples in a person’s heart.

Xie Ao Yu also sat at the pond’s edge.

The two of them sat side by side.

Bing Wu replied, “It’s the Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame.”
(TN: 地肺心炎 suggestions for the name? I suck at names. Most of the other names I stole from the previous translator. Hope he/she doesn’t mind o.o )

So it was that kind of divergent flame, Xie Ao Yu thought.

Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame is an outstanding type of divergent flame. There was a big gap between it compared to Ziyan’s Shadow Demon Spirit Fire, but Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame had an odd characteristic, which is that it could mature.

All divergent flames had prototypes forming processes.

Once formed, they would not change, but Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame was different. After it had transformed, it would still have the ability to mature further. This potential was found in magma.

If it had been formed in the magma, the Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame prototype could most likely be swallowed. Any following advancements by the Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame would greatly increase its power.

“Bing Wu.”

A quiet voice came from behind them.

Butterfly Queen You Lan Ruo appeared behind them like a ghost.

“I have to go.” Bing Wu said.

“Remember, safety first.” Xie Ao Yu quietly said, “Who knows, maybe we’ll see each other again soon.”

Bing Wu bit her lips and nodded her head, her eyes became tender, and then suddenly leaned forward, hastily saying, “I’m going to miss you.” Then she turned away and ran.

You Lan Ruo took Bing Wu into the sky and flew off into the distance.

Staring intensely at the two figures disappearing into horizon, it was only once they were completely gone that Xie Ao Yu looked away.

Even though the beauty had left, her smell still lingered.

Due to their frequent cultivation, he and Bing Wu hadn’t met that often recently, but now that she was gone, Xie Ao Yu felt a sense of loss, as if something was missing.

Xie Ao Yu looked towards the water fall, the pond, the rapids, and the forest.

A breeze passed through.

The sense of loneliness increased further.

“Maybe I should hurry my actions and forge my own path a bit earlier.” Xie Ao Yu muttered to himself. He put away the Light Spirit Holy Sword back into its sheath. “Xiao Bai, let’s go, we’re going to go see the Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame.”

“Yiya!”

Xiao Bai came out of the middle of the waterfall.

One man and one animal left the foot of the mountain, heading away from Langya City and straight for Howling Wolf mountain.

Howling Wolf Mountain was located south of Langya city. The mountain itself was not too tall, but it was the highest peak south of Langya city. The mountain was covered in lush forests and filled with spirit beasts.

Xie Ao Yu had gone to the Howling Wolf Mountains many times, but never discovered the Earth Pulmonary Heart Flame. Even now, if Bing Wu’s teacher hadn’t told him, he still wouldn’t have known about it and most likely would never have had a chance of finding it. Now, even though he knew the location of where the cave’s entrance was, it still took him half a day to find it.

It was a very common-looking cave.

In fact, you could tell that many people had come through here before, but no one had known that inside this cave there was a divergent flame. After Xie Ao Yu arrived at about ten meters away from the entrance of the cave, he used his hand to measure from the bottom of his foot to his waist, felt for a protruding rock and then twisted it gently.
