CH 89: THE YOUNGER GENERATION, GATHERING OF GENIUSES (PT 3)

Three people? That much?

Xie Aoyu and Roque looked at each other, seems to feel a little surprised, as one's must know, that most of the Tian Luo Academy's students who went venturing the world did not return to Te Luo City.

From here it shows how formidable this Tian Luo Academy.

And so, many like Roque which makes this continent’s youth competition as a platform for them to forge their way for greater success in the world, and this also makes Xie Aoyu more cautious since the attraction of a champion title is just too strong.
 

On the continent of this big, talented individuals have come forth in large numbers, prodigies; there are also mad geniuses (鬼才) which come in innumerable numbers.

(TN: This is really confusing since up until now there's no sorcerer or wizards appearance in this series (up until ch89..yeah I read it while I translate) .. 鬼才 (in chinese mostly mean wizard, mad scientist / genius, and evil sorcerer), but it does not seems relevant, so I keep mad genius as it is 鬼 = mad / devil 才 = gifted / genius until further reading :))

To pass all the way through, it would not be easy.

"Who are they?" Xie Aoyu asked.

Bing Wu pointed her finger at the front-center of the crowd, where there stands a burly man with a height of 1.9 meters tall, "He called Delle, his background history is a mystery, and it is said he and the former dean of our academy has a close relationship, he studied to become a specialist off heavy sword, as the foundation of his body is very strong, he is also said to have been cultivated a Berserker race’s unique fighting skills... ... a quite barbaric technique."

"Standing on the top left of the crowd, is the man who looked so feeble and weak, coming from Desai's clan, called Gert, in Desai's clan, he is also known as a genius, but no one knows how strong is he, Li Chaofeng had sparred with him, he failed thrice miserably, and Li Chaofeng said, at that time, Gert was not even using his full power."

"There is also another one, as he is among the people who were rushing forward, he is the junior of the Pasa clan's family branch named Jowers, and together with Feili, he also possessed the same attribute which is metallic, his strength is quite threatening.” 

Bing Wu introduced the trio as Xie Aoyu observes each of them. 

Based on the external appearance alone, Delle is by far the most prominent, but somehow the one who is the most difficult to read is Gert who seems to be lying low, as for Jowers, apparently there's no one is able to see through him. 

Exuded the noble manner of being a member of one of the major clan, Jowers greets everyone with a smile. 

"Miss Bing Wu also missed another person." Roque said. 

Xie Aoyu said: "Who?" 

 

"Jowers's personal servant ... ... Sorsk. Delle, Gert, these two people, I do not know about them, but this Sorsk guy, I know." Roque's expression changed to be heavy, "Back then one of my friends took on a mission, at that time, Sorsk also took the same mission, and so he was following along, in the end, they met groups of bandits three times during the mission, but eventually just by simply relying on Sorsk's strategy, with only the price of using less than thirty people, they managed to wipe out all the bandits in just a short time."

Xie Aoyu and Bing Wu looked at each other, as they were taken aback.

For such a noteworthy person, Xie Aoyu would certainly take into his accounts.

"How about his strength?" Xie Aoyu can see Sorsk's strength is not weak, but he could not see through the latter's realm, obviously that person has its own method to conceal his real strength.

"Not sure, but with his age, he should have the qualifications needed to participate in the hunting competition of the Gold Eater Beast." Roque smiled wryly as he said, "Jowers's attribute is metal, with his help, I'm afraid the owner of the Gold Eater Beast has been determined since beginning and apparently I am not"

Xie Aoyu casually said: "That may not be necessarily true."

Listen to Xie Aoyu's tone of voice which seems to be full of confidence, Roque's heart was stirred, as the latter managed to make that Xing Luo to bestowed the Star Luo's token to him in person, obviously is not a simple one, it looks like Xie Aoyu might just have a way, possibly.

"Junior Xie, if things going smoothly as you plan to, would it possible for you to give to me some of the Gold Eater Beast's bone and a bottle of Golden blood?" Roque asked.

Gold Beast Eater is one special existence, its bones and blood is the best material for weapons refining, or to even create a Heavenly King-level weapon.

"Sure, no problem." Xie Aoyu laughed, "But only if we can get the Gold Eater Beasts, not to mention Delle, even Gert, Jowers, Sorsk, Feili, and Valentinez with a total of six people, no one would have the nerve to guarantee that there would be no another young experts will emerge afterwards."

"Indeed, Te Luo City particularly has a large flow of people coming in and out, mercenaries, groups of bandits, those who were venturing and stopped in town to spend a night, so for a few masters to emerge, are not surprising at all." Roque said as he naturally clearer with the situation in Te Luo City.

Xie Aoyu said: "So, no one can guarantee themselves as the final winner, but we must never underestimate ourselves, it's important to have confidence, for us to have a chance."

He might said so outwardly, but inwardly, if he previously thought that his chance of winning percentage is 70%, but now it has been reduced to 30%.

Xie Aoyu secretly thinks of a way to succeed.

But later his train of thought was interrupted by someone.

"Isn’t that the Butterfly Queen's disciple,Bing Wu?" Jowers, shouted in the distance.

His voice has caught the attention of other people.

Originally in the light of the tacit understanding of all parties, that all the younger generation should get off ones hand from each other (TN: this sentence somehow confusing, but I am sure it is about flirting), however Bing Wu is not only beautiful, but also is a Queen Butterfly's disciple, so naturally she would attract attention, Bing Wu initially wanted to stay beside Xie Aoyu and do not want to be found, but Jowers, with only one line of words, has exposed her in front of the crowd.

All eyes turned to a direction simultaneously. (一道 道 目光 齐刷刷 的 投射 过去.)

And among those are Delle and Gert, which were quickly turned around and walked towards them.

"Bing Wu, I have been looking for you and your venturing group, but I could not find you guys at all, and yet we still managed to meet here." Delle strode down over, as his eyes stuck at Bing Wu, he completely ignored Xie Aoyu.

Gert does not speak, but that expression of his, betrayed his thoughts.

The feeling of a rival in loves ah, Xie Aoyu mumbled in his heart; as he indeliberately glanced at the slow walking Jowers, feeling that this guy did this on purpose (TN: in regards of his loud shouts).

"Is there a reason for Senior Delle looking for me?" Bing Wu reaches and linking hers with Xie Aoyu's arm, an effort to show to all, that she is taken.

This one action of hers, make Delle and Gerth halt their footsteps.

Within Tian Luo Academy, those whose aggressively pursued Bing Wu’s love are the three most powerful students. Those three are Li Chaofeng, Delle, and Gert, excluded Li Chaofeng who was his real motive is to get the Butterfly Queen's guidance instead of love between man and woman, so there are only two people left, Delle and Gert.

This sudden turn of events, as Bing Wu intimately leaned her body against Xie Aoyu's body, make one's eyes bulged wide at once, the two looked towards Xie Aoyu intensely.

"Delle." Taking one step forward is Delle, holding out his large hand.

Xie Aoyu shivered inwardly, as he seems to be under impression that between Delle and Gert, that pretty boy Gert would be the most likely the schemer ones, but he seriously did not expect that the first person that comes to dealing with Bing Wu's man, unexpectedly, is a man whose outward appearance seems boorish, Delle, who became the first person to come out to sort out the situation, while concealing his fiery jealousy within.

You really can’t judge a person by their appearance alone!

Xie Aoyu embeds this warning deep inside his heart. 

"Xie Aoyu." Xie Aoyu also held out his hand. 

Two hands clenched each other. 

A portion of simple and profound sound of strength can be heard, furthermore there is no involvement of battle-qi at all, and it is simply a pure strength.

Xie Aoyu smiled calmly, as rivals in love met, a secret contest is unavoidable, and the guy not even uses his Qi, only pure strength to compete.

Delle's eyes had a trace of surprise, because as he is a Berserker, his most powerful quality is his strength, no matter how much he exerted his physical strength, apparently Xie Aoyu can cope with it easily, it's totally caught him in surprise.

"This is the first time I met Your Excellency, Your Excellency come from the same neighborhood as Miss Bing Wu, right?" Delle release his hand.

"Oh, yes, we grew up together." Xie Aoyu wrapped his hand around Bing Wu as he hugged her, as if to declare, that she is his woman.

Seeing Bing Wu’s happy expression, Delle said with a bitter tone: "A childhood sweetheart, it's no wonder when Miss Bing Wu in the academy, she seemed to have no interest towards opposite sex, apparently because she is already taken."

Gert sneered as he said: "It might has not been fully determined yet, as far as I know there is someone who has offended Chalice of Pasa's clan, and it seems that guy named Xie Aoyu, was that person is you, Your Excellency?"

As he said this, Bing Wu's willow leaf shapes eyebrows, rose. 

At first he said it still has not been determined yet, but obviously he knows the story behind it yet he deliberately said with questioning tone which was clearly intended to put pressure on Xie Aoyu, how does that not make Bing Wu to feel disgusted. 

"Your Excellency's knowledge, contrary to what one might expect, was quite well-informed." Xie Aoyu said indifferently. 

"It is not about being well-informed, but to think that an ignorant boy from a small clan in Langya City, dared to touched the Young Master of Pasa's clan, it was certainly big news ah." Gert said in provoking manner.

Xie Aoyu gently hold Bing Wu who is about to explode, "Listened to your words; it looks like you're afraid of Chalice, tsk tsk, who could have thought that you turns out to be a coward."

Gert was immediately outraged, "Boy, whether you believe it or not, I swear that I am going to kill you."

Xie Aoyu curled his lips, as he felt too lazy to pay this guy attention whose appearance he initially thought was a clever man, but he did not think that this person would turned out to be so frivolous.

"I don’t believe it."Jowers, who took the time to come here, said.

"Jowers, did you look down upon me?" Gert raised his voice, "Not to mention him, even the entire Xie clan, with my word alone, would be wiped out completely."

Jowers, laughed as he said: "I don’t believe it."

Gert did not think that Jowers would not give him any face, so he could not help but to feel angry. 

But then Jowers continued: "If it's simply a Xie's clan, of course you don’t have to pay any regard, but don’t forget that there is someone behind Xie Aoyu." 

"I heard that he has the Star Luo's token, do you think that Pasa's clan would feel scared that easily?" Gert said as he sneered. 

"The cause of our headache is not because of that." Jowers, squinted his eyes as he laughed and said, "We are afraid of the female figure that was behind him, hey, there is nothing to be done, as who let this Junior Xie to be fond of living off a woman, right? Of course, I'm not talking about Miss Bing Wu: Miss, I would not have the nerve to do so. " 

Gert said: "Qin Yueyi, you're not talking about that little devil, right?" He looked at Xie Aoyu up and down, seemingly to be astonished as he said, "I heard that Qin Yueyi like to bully and torture people, don’t tell me that this guy is a masochist? "
