Chapter 189

Flying Lines

Jing Yue hadn’t seen Yin Jian for a long time, so she went to a mountain outside the city, which belonged to Xiao Chen . The mountain was very quiet and off the beaten track . If there were many people coming and going, they might be scared by Yin Jian and Yin Feng . She didn’t want to create panic among people .

“Wow . . . What a nice place!” Jing Yue nodded with satisfaction, watching the high mountain around . The scenery here was as beautiful as Luo Man Forest . She walked into the forest and then stopped . She looked around with smile, asking Xing Er, “Did you put Yin Jian here?” 

He nodded slowly .

Jing Yue put one hand near her mouth with a smile and blew out clear and pleasant whistle . The rhythm of the whistle was familiar to Xing Er . He remembered the first time they went into the Luo Man Forest and encountered ambush, she had used this whistle to call in these two gray wolves .

Sure enough, as the whistle rang for a moment, there was a bust of sound coming from the forest .

Jing Yue’s eyes were full of smile . She figured out the direction and turned her head to the thick bushes . A wolf in off white flew out .

"Ah!” Jing Yue smiled at the wolf and then the huge wolf pounced into her arms .

“Good job, Yin Feng! You’re faster than Yin Jian now!” Jing Yue rubbed its fur with a bright smile, letting Yin Feng to lick her cheeks .

"Ow!” Another wolf sprang out, and squeezed into Jing Yue’s arms, also licking her cheek on the other side . The two wolves amused Jing Yue . She turned her head to avoid their tongues and sat straight to rub them . She hadn’t seen them for months, and it seemed that they’ve got recovered .

“Look at you two! You are happy here . ” Jing Yue sat beside them and said . Xing Er stood far away from them and watched her talking to the wolves . Suddenly, a strange feeling flitted across his mind . It seemed that Jing Yue treated animals well as if they were her relatives .

She never showed this kind of gentleness, which came from inside, to human-beings . Xing Er felt strange about this .

Jing Yue took Yin Jian and Yin Feng running through the forest joyfully . She hadn’t been running like this for ages; wealthy life could certainly make people lazy . Jing Yue frowned as she swung her sore arms .

“I should get more exercise afterwards . ” Saying that, Jing Yue kneaded her arms . It could be very dangerous if she lacked exercise and been assassinated once again .

As the sun went down and the night began, Jing decided to leave . She exhorted these two wolves to stay here and promised to meet them as often as she could . Obviously, the wolves were unwilling to let her go, so they followed her to the foot of the mountain and watched her leaving, with a long wolf howling .

Back to the Mansion, Jing Yue was just on her way to Lotus Garden when she suddenly wanted to talk with Xiao Chen about the yard which was sealed off by soldiers and officials . So she decided to go to his study . As she entered the garden, Xing Yi and an unacquainted man in black stood before the door .
