Lea frowned as he bit his lower lip tightly.
Gu Mengmeng was not as heartless as him. He knew this all along.
He could ignore Miranda’s pleas for help, but Gu Mengmeng couldn’t.
As Elvis said, he was not a kind person. Apart from Gu Mengmeng, he didn’t care about anyone else. But Gu Mengmeng was big-hearted and could not stand to see anyone being debased.
Nodding, Lea looked at Elvis. “Be careful.”
Elvis tore off the animal skins covering the entrance and pushed open the tunnel door.
At the same time, Lea shattered the snow piled up in front of the stone castle entrance with one punch, to allow fresh air in.
Within seconds, the Fox Seductive Fragrance that was permeating the entire house was drawn out by the cold harsh winds, turning the formerly warm and cozy home into a frosty place.
Elvis stepped into the secret tunnel and unleashed his beast pressure with a shake of his body. Silence instantly fell.
Because the secret tunnel was winding, the beast pressure didn’t spread very far. So only the nearby beasts were affected. The Fox Seductive Fragrance was so dense that even Elvis could not hold on for long. Hence, he just retrieved Miranda before rapidly exiting the tunnel and shutting it. He then sealed it again with multiple layers of animal skins.
The silence continued for a little while longer before waves of languishing sounds started up once again. Miranda’s beast dress had already been torn to shreds while bruises covered her body as if she had been trampled upon. There was some grime on her, probably from some male who had started raping her, but didn’t complete the act. She had morphed out her tail to cover her own body, and was cowered in a corner of the room, trembling all over. She gazed toward Lea with large, round, tear-filled eyes, looking exceptionally pitiful.
“Upstairs on the left, the room at the end is empty. Go in and shut the door. Don’t come out again. Otherwise, I will throw you back into the tunnels or out the front door,” Gu Mengmeng said through gritted teeth.
Miranda stared at Gu Mengmeng with bloodshot eyes. She gave a cold laugh. “Alright, you just want to imprison me, don’t you? I am used to being locked up so you don’t have to threaten me like that. I will obediently succumb to your detention and let you fully enjoy tormenting me. But let me give you my best wishes. I wish that the day that Ah Ya detests you will never come. Otherwise, my present state will be your future… don’t think just because you are partners that he belongs to you. There is no such thing as loyalty in snow foxes.”
With that, Miranda dragged her battered body up the stairs. Following Gu Mengmeng’s directions, she turned left and walked into the last room, before shutting the door.
Gu Mengmeng really felt like giving herself two tight slaps. Did she not know the story of “The Snake and the Farmer”? How could she not understand such a simple principle?
There was always a reason behind why a person would have sunk to such a pitiful state. This collective mating fever of the snow foxes was something that had been ongoing for hundreds of thousands of years. Why did she insist on interfering?
She just ended up with egg on her face…
But this was the way she was. She couldn’t turn a deaf ear to pleading cries for help.
“Mengmeng…” Lea’s body was growing warmer. His gaze started to falter and he kept calling her. “Mengmeng, I feel terrible… I am afraid I can’t control myself… knock me unconscious… I am nearly losing control… Mengmeng… Mengmeng, I feel so terrible…”
Gu Mengmeng turned to Elvis for help, only to discover that Elvis’ face was also flushed and tightly wound.
