Snake stood up straight, facing Gu Mengmeng, “Small incident? Then do you know how the three of us came over?”
Gu Mengmeng shook her head, looking at Elvis suspiciously.

Gu Mengmeng felt shocked, when she looked down, there was indeed a red spot where the snake head was on her chest, which was likely a scar.
It was then that Snake continued, “The instant I arrived, I saw the dagger almost pierce into your heart. The lives of Gregory, myself, Lea, Elvis and you included would all have been at stake. To you, that is just a small incident, isn’t it?”
Gu Mengmeng’s aggressiveness instantly dissipated, replying with grief, “I did not know that…”
“Of course you did not.” Snake smiled coldly, “If you did, then you would have called your most trustworthy first partner to come over to protect you, wouldn’t you? In your eyes, only he is your partner, he is the only trustworthy one. If anything happens and he is not around, you would rather be alone than call Lea or myself over to watch over you. Elvis clearly could not stand Snake scolding Gu Mengmeng like that, but Gu Mengmeng could hear how much fear there was behind Snake’s reprimands.
Gu Mengmeng pulled Elvis away before he exploded, and opened her arms to Snake, posing like she wanted a hug.
Snake was furious, but he was also extremely uneasy.
