The voice recorder belonged to either Qiao Anhao or Qiao Anxia . . . Lu Jinnian frowned, stopping his movement . He reached out and took the voice recorder before walking towards the elevator .

After returning back to Huan Ying Entertainment, he started working on the pile of urgent documents that were stacked on his desk . By the time he was done, it was already 4 . 30 pm .

He lifted his head to massage his temples before slouching back into his chair . He sat silently, resting for about five minutes before straightening to open his laptop . Just then, he caught sight of the voice recorder that was placed on his desk .

He stared at the voice recorder, hesitating slightly before reaching out to grab it .

This voice recorder seemed rather worn out, it was probably bought a while ago .

Lu Jinnian's grip on the voice recorder tightened, his thumbs circling it . He couldn't seem to figure out who it belonged to . One couldn't help but be curious of the unknown . Even though Lu Jinnian knew that he had to return the voice recorder, he still couldn't help but press the play button .

There was a buzzing sound before a clear voice came through, about ten seconds later, Lu Jinnian heard a familiar voice calling a familiar name . "Qiao Qiao, what did you say?"

It was Xu Jiamu's voice, it was deep and soulful, pleasing to the ears .

Qiao Anhao's reply didn't come through, instead, the buzzing sound took over . After a long while, Xu Jiamu's impatient voice came through again, "Qiao Qiao, hurry and tell me what you were saying . Why do you need to close the door?"

"Jiamu, can you be serious . I have something important to tell you . " Qiao Anhao's voice finally came through .
