Lucy wiped away her tears, but resentment surged into her mind again.
“Can I come in?” Fali asked.
Lucy was at her weakest moment. She urgently needed someone’s care.
Fali played the role very well. When she boarded the car, Lucy hugged her tightly.
Fali listened to Lucy’s story. After a while, she said, “Perhaps Chen will have a solution.”

Lucy was still rather worried. She did not know what Chen Zhao was going to do.
If they made a big deal out of it and enraged Zola, it might really destroy Lucy’s Hollywood dream entirely.
Chen Zhao brought Lucy into the mansion. Cooper was puzzled to see Chen Zhao.
“Chen, did you leave something here?”
“No, go and ask Nat to come out,” Chen Zhao said.
“Why?”
“He bullied my friend. My friend needs an apology.”
Cooper glanced at Lucy and thought about it. “Wait for a while.”
Instead of calling Nat out, Cooper went to find Zola.
He could tell from Chen Zhao’s face that they were probably here to argue with Nat.
Chen Zhao was Zola’s friend, so clearly he should inform Zola.
After a while, Zola appeared. “Chen, what happened?”
As Zola asked her question, she glanced at Lucy. Lucy was much more demure before Zola.
“Zola, your designer Nat humiliated my friend. Lucy needs an apology.”
After thinking, Zola asked, “Can you tell me what happened?”
When Chen Zhao told her the story, Zola’s face darkened.
Lucy was horrified. She did not expect Chen Zhao and Zola to know each other.
Apart from that, Zola was even willing to patiently listen to what he had to say.

When Lucy heard this, her face darkened further.
She would rather a person to not know her than say this before her.
It was the worst humiliation she could receive.
Zola stared at Nat coldly. “Don’t forget that you were also a small tailor before I promoted you. Perhaps you miss your days as a tailor.”
Chen Zhao realized that Nat’s rough face was trembling and his thick layer of foundation was falling off.
Nat might be a famous designer to an outsider, but Zola’s words could really turn him back into a tailor again.
Nat approached Lucy. “Ms. Lucy, I apologize for my words and behavior just now.”
“Forget it. I forgive you.”
None of them was being sincere.
Some hatred was meant to last for a lifetime.
“Zola, Lucy is an actress. You won’t make her life difficult, will you?” Chen Zhao asked. He did not want Zola to chase Lucy out of Hollywood once this was over.
“Of course I won’t since you gave the word. Anyway, if you really want to help her, you can find Steven yourself. I heard from him that you recommended him the female lead for his new movie.”

Lucy regretted not being able to discover Chen Zhao’s real influence earlier.

Lucy suddenly envied Fali. Why could she not get such an outstanding man herself?
