Once Evangeline rushed into the group of witches, they were no longer able to fight back.
“Run… Run…” Sienna grabbed Carla’s arm.
But then there was a pained cry in her ears. When she turned around, she saw that she was only holding onto Carla’s arm.
Evangeline’s hands had penetrated Carla’s body, lifting her high up. She bit down on Carla’s neck and started munching on the flesh.
Sienna’s knees turned weak from fright. Evangeline was focused on eating Carla, so she didn’t pay much attention to Sienna.
She soon sucked Carla dry and tossed the dried corpse to the side. Sienna pointed a gun at Evangeline, but the woman grinned.
“Little girl, you think guns are effective against me?”

A giant hole opened up on Evangeline’s forehead.
“Ah!” Evangeline cried out in pain. “I’ll kill you!”
Sienna’s gun didn’t use the average bullet. They were made out of angelic crystals. But this was her last bullet.
Evangeline was in immense pain. She reached into the hole and dug out the bullet. The flesh around the hole wriggled and filled the hole again.
“Vine Entanglement.” Evangeline was about to attack Sienna when a witch in the distance cast a spell on her.
Vine Entanglement wasn’t an offensive spell. Instead, it was a restraint spell, so the mirror reflection was ineffective.
However, Evangeline was too strong now. Vine Entanglement only slightly delayed her movements. The next moment, she intensified her movements and tore apart the vines.
“Ruler of the land, please restrain the demon before my eyes.”
The ground under Evangeline suddenly softened. Her feet started sinking in.

Two witches immediately ran over to their partner. Each one put a palm on her back, temporarily lending magic to her.
“Mighty spirit of the mountains, please show your strength.”
A round boulder plummeted onto Evangeline’s head. It weighed around three or four tons. The ground shook from the collision.
“Phew… It’s finally over…”
But just as everyone thought that it was over, the boulder suddenly jumped up. The witch that had cast the Spirit of Mountains was turned into a bloody pulp.
“You’re all gonna die!” Evangeline roared crazily.
“Lord of the past, please bestow upon me unlimited strength to seal the evil before my eyes.”
A six-pointed star emerged under Evangeline’s feet. Chains shot out along the star, locking Evangeline down tightly.
“Go! This seal won’t be able to restrain her for long!”
“Don’t even think about escaping. I’ve memorized your scent. I’ve memorized your scent!”
All the witches fled. They knew that Evangeline wasn’t joking.
She would hunt them down one by one and then rip them to shreds.

“Sienna, where are you? How are you?” Rupert had already heard about what happened in the abandoned church.
All the witches in L.A. and even the entire magic world in America knew what had happened.
A witch who’d transformed into a monster had set up a trap to massacre the witches of L.A. At least half of the witches had died, while the monster was temporarily sealed.
However, with the strength of the seal, the monster broke free as soon as the witches left.
Sienna picked up the phone. “Rupert, don’t stay in L.A. anymore. No one can defeat that monster.”
“Are you okay?”
Sienna wasn’t hurt, but she was truly frightened. What had happened in that church was terrifying.
The power that Evangeline had displayed was completely above the average person. A typical person or witch couldn’t counter her at all.
“Didn’t you say your friend could do it?”

“That monster Evangeline has her eyes on me. I need to leave this place.”
“We can ask Chen. He can definitely defeat the monster.”

“Sienna!” Chris cried out anxiously. “Where are you going?”
“Don’t follow me. Otherwise, you’ll be in danger too.”
