“Ah…”

Chen Zhao stretched himself. He had a really good sleep last night.

As he drew the curtains, the bright sunlight shone in, but the temperature was just right.

Suddenly, he heard a series of rapid knocks on the door.

Chen Zhao opened the door and saw Yura and Cheryl charge into the room.

“Brother, where are we going to play today?” Yura looked very energetic.

Since she had her bone marrow transplanted, her health had been improving.

“Uh…”

“Let’s go to the Statue of Liberty. I want to see it.”

“Theme park. I want to go to a theme park.”

Before Chen Zhao could answer, Hill Nandes walked in.

“Mr. Chen, here you are. When did you change your room? I spent so long knocking on your door last night, but you didn’t answer, so I thought you were too tired and went to sleep. Today, I asked the reception and realized that you’ve changed your room. Have you had breakfast? Why don’t we have a short discussion over breakfast?”

“Sir, excuse me.”

A waiter pushed in a serving trolley which was filled with sumptuous food.

“Err… I don’t think I ordered breakfast,” Chen Zhao said, confused.

“Wow, do luxury suites come with such amazing complimentary breakfast?” Hill Nandes asked in surprise. “I’m tempted to upgrade too.”

“Why don’t we have this?” Yura and Cheryl asked, displeased.

“I don’t have it too.” Blackie came.

“Mr. Chen, someone ordered it for you,” the waiter replied.

“Someone ordered for me?” Chen Zhao thought about it. Could it be Iveline, the manager?

“Enjoy.” The waiter put the food down and left.

“I haven’t had breakfast too. Mr. Chen, you don’t mind if I eat with you, do you?”

Chen Zhao could not reject the shameless Hill Nandes.

“If you want.”

Yura and Cheryl had never had such a deluxe breakfast, not even Yura.

Steamed lobsters, Mashed potato omelet with sauce, Foie gras and caviar, Teriyaki beef tongue… There were more than a dozen dishes.

This was a feast, not breakfast.

It probably cost three or four thousand dollars.

That time, Chen Zhao had only spent five thousand on the party, and there were more than twenty people.

Chen Zhao did not reject the meal. He wolfed down the food, but it was more like an appetizer for him.

The food was incredibly nice, but it was too little.

Chen Zhao would not even be close to full if he had all of it himself, not to mention that there were four people.

“Mr. Chen, the seminar starts at two. Do you have any plans for the morning?” Hill Nandes stared at Chen Zhao, his eyes glowing. “If not, why don’t we have a chat first? I have…”

“Sorry, I’m bringing them out to play,” Chen Zhao said.

“Err… Alright. Will you be free tonight?”

“I need to prepare my speech for tomorrow.”

“Okay… Tomorrow?”

“I’m going to visit my friend.”

Chen Zhao was so done with Hill Nandes’s constant pestering.

He was already starting to regret promising Wright to attend the seminar.

Just then, a person walked into the room.

It was Louis Klalime. One of his arms was plastered.

“Mr. Chen, how was your breakfast?”

“You ordered it?” Chen Zhao was surprised.

“I’m living next door.”

“Next door?” Chen Zhao was more bewildered. When did Louis move in?

Why would he live beside Chen Zhao? What was the point?

Chen Zhao had made it clear to him that he did not have a solution for his arm for now.

Chen Zhao had to go back and do some research first.

In fact, Louis also felt helpless.

After all, Chen Zhao was the only person so far who knew his condition and might possibly heal him.

He was worried that Chen Zhao would never return again after going back to LA.

Hence, he decided to befriend Chen Zhao first.

“They are?” Louis Klalime looked at the others.

“This is Professor Hill Nandes from UCLA. They’re my sisters.”

“Hello.” Louis shook hands with Hill Nandes.

Hill Nandes recognized the billionaire Louis.

He did not expect Chen Zhao to know such a person.

“Is this your first time in New York? I can bring you around.”

“Thanks, but we already have plans,” Chen Zhao said.

Louis Klalime was also very troublesome. Chen Zhao did not want Louis to keep pestering him too.

“Oh, Hill Nandes has been a very famous surgeon. Perhaps he has a way to fix your arm. Why don’t you have a talk?”

Louis looked at Hill Nandes. He thought that since Hill Nandes was Chen Zhao’s companion, he might actually be good.

Chen Zhao fled from the hotel with Yura and Cheryl.

New York was too huge. A single morning was clearly not enough to visit the place fully.

Chen Zhao first brought Yura and Cheryl to the Statue of Liberty.

Both the base of the statue and the statue itself were about 46 meters tall. Together, they added up to roughly 93 meters.

The Statue of Liberty was a spiritual symbol for many locals.

Chen Zhao, however, did not find it interesting. In fact, he would rather sleep in the hotel than climb the statue.

During the entire process, Cheryl and Yura were the ones who were dragging Chen Zhao along. The two really seemed to enjoy themselves though.

After they left the statue, Chen Zhao went to buy the two girls some ice-cream.

When he returned, he saw a perverted-looking man trying to approach Yura and Cheryl.

“Hey, girls, would you like to become stars? Famous stars!”

“Who are you?” Yura stared at the man in suspicion.

“I’m a talent scout. Do you know what I do? I search for potential entertainment talents. I’ve already made a few people famous. Are you interested?”

The perverted-looking man’s saliva flew all over the place. “If you want to become stars, follow me.”

“I would love to, but I think someone will not agree.” Some cunningness flashed across Yura’s eyes.

“It’s okay. If your parents find out about it, they’ll be happy that you can become stars and earn big money. They will agree.”

Suddenly, the man felt some pain on his shoulder. “I don’t.”

“Who are you?” The perverted-looking man turned his head. When he saw an Asian, he raised his volume.

“I’m her dad. Scram!” Chen Zhao smashed the two ice-cream cones into the man’s face.

“What a brutal man! Cops! Come here…”
