Chen Zhao furrowed his brows. In the darkness, Pamela was also looking at him.
“You can see me?” Pamela watched him. “You aren’t afraid of me?”
Chen Zhao rolled his eyes. He waved his hand and turned to leave.
Laurent was very disappointed that he couldn’t see Pamela again.

A piercing alarm rang through the lobby. Many of the guests there were frightened.
The guards and lobby manager hurried over. The manager went to the front desk. “What happened? Who set off the alarm?”
“Manager, the alarm is broken. It goes off randomly.”
“Which company installed the security system?”
“Higg Security Company,” the front desk staff said.
“Call them and have them come check.”
Twenty minutes later, a few uniformed men came to the front desk.
“Are you the repairmen from Higg?”
“Yes. What is the problem?”

The manager led the repairmen to the security room.
