Immediately after returning to the guild, I knew who was searching for me.

Everybody close by was looking at us. Reluctantly, I decided to greet him.

“Eh!? Ohh, you are [Annihilation]-san?”

“That’s right. I’m sometimes called that.”

“Sup, call me Yuuki Kurono. Best regards, senpai.”

“You, it can’t be!? ”

“Yup, I’m from the same place as senpai. I’m actin’ as the [Demon King] here~.”

I grasped very little except that this guy really was a [Demon King].

I’m being called senpai because I was summoned earlier.

The demon king seems delighted to talk to someone.

If they can possess strong humans they can get an even stronger power, it’s a strategy that seems entirely full of good points.

Sounds likely, if the gods that gave Yuuki and me divine protections are similar that could be true.

“For now, because my victory condition needs investigating I’ll also be living my life normally.”

“Thanks, well fo’ now I’ll return home fo’ today. Since I also saw the state of that idiot minion.”

He shot a smirk at the [Seal Stone of Sobbing] stone.

“Oh, see you later.”

“Yes, I’ll come on down again.”

Somehow by the end of the conversation we were talking like we were friends, but the other party was the [Demon King].

I should be very cautious.

Well, what to do after this.

A week after meeting the demon king. A different problem from the demon king occurred.

“A fight? ”

“Yes, the village goblins and the labyrinth goblins are quarrelling.”

Latia came to sadly report it.

Apparently, the labyrinth goblins aren’t listening to Lalu’s orders.

“That’s easy, you just have to let them fight it all out once.”

“Men come to an understanding after beating up each other. Women become friends over sweets.”

It’s a little violent but there’s some truth to it. However, I still won’t give permission for a fight.

There must be something else if you are just letting off steam.

“That’s right, let’s play baseball.”

Since the goblin village has grown large, only a few get to participate. The rest get to enjoy being spectators.

Yeah, this might be a good idea.

I had the goblins assemble on the plaza at once.

First, I’ll explain the rules of baseball.

After the explanation, before long I watched them play.

It will be faster to remember if they try it than by explaining it with words.

And then, batters are all that’s needed to play baseball.

The goblins immediately picked up the game and got into it.

After spending 3 days teaching them baseball, I assemble everyone at the plaza and announce that we are holding a baseball tournament.

Each of the 9 starting players were selected as well as alternatives in case of injury.

“We will rectify the unfair cold reception of the new members!!”

While I was unaware, Frey had settled into a coach position.

Certainly Frey is a newcomer, but did she feel that way? I felt like she was on good terms with Lalu and the others.

“Do you really think you can beat us who have been with master longer!!”

Apparently, Amy seems to be taking charge of the senior team.

No, the one who has been with me the longest is Ayla.

However, Ayla is having fun playing catch with Ruby.

“Here goes, Ruby.”

Ruby is pretty good at catching the ball with it’s face.
