Chapter 3: Demon lord, you’re over in various ways.
After flying at a speed beyond 100kmh for 2 hours, I can finally see the demon lord’s castle.
There were people entering the gates properly, but that has no relation to me who is flying.
I flew inside the throne room.
On the gaudy throne was a middle aged man who grew out his beard.
There were no other creatures.
From only appearances this human is probably the demon lord.
I threw the blondey in front of the demon lord.
“You’re the shitty demon lord right? Have you prepared yourself?”
I narrowed my eyes, and the demon lord directed his emotionless eyes at the blondey, seemingly asking for an explanation.
“Your highness, that guy, suddenly attacked us!”
“Did the other two get taken down?”
“Yes, that guy is a monster, please run-!?”
With a slip the blondey’s face was sliced in half. From out of nowhere a sword appeared and the demon lord cut him down.
“I have no need for weaklings, what I only want are the strong.”
Since he was trying to act cool I let out a snort, and with a glint in his eyes turned towards over here.
“I apologize for the rudeness, these guys probably tried to attack you.”
“How do you know?”
“Since you are angry enough to have come from to such a place, those are not the actions of someone who only got angry at the messenger, am I wrong?”
This is guy is, compared to the three idiots, has a better comprehension of the conversation.
And he is also quite courteous, but even if I say all that, I still won’t forgive him.”
“That’s right, those guys killed my important comrades.”
“It can’t be, for there are other evil dragons…”
“Nah, they aren’t evil dragons, cause they are slimes.”
“…? slimes are… your comrades…?”
“Oi, you have some sort of complaint?”
The demon lord looked at me from top to bottom, and then let out a laugh while treating me like an idiot.
I take it all back.
There is no doubt this guy is those 3 idiots superior.
From his attitude to everything else, isn’t it all the same.
“Well isn’t this ridiculous, a few years ago when I heard that an evil dragon started living in that forest, i was a bit flustered, but to think he was this kind of guy.”
“Oh yeah? Do you wanna fight or not? Choose already.”
“Hah- just because you defeated the likes of the three demon generals, don’t get ahead of yourself”
While the demon lord covered himself in an extraordinary fighting spirit, he prepared a straight sword.
Even if I only had a small understanding of kendo in my past life, in this world I have laid my eyes on countless swordsmen.
I can feel that this guy can handle the sword pretty well.
“Around 15%? …no 10% should probably be good enough.”
“What are you talking to yourself about?”
“Nothing, just how much energy I need to use to beat you.”
“You think you can beat me with only a small percentage of your power?”
“Yeah, that’s about it, come at me, small fry.”
“Kieeeeeeeee!”
While raising a weird scream that would break anyone’s ears, the demon lord came attacking.
As expected of the one who united all the magic beasts, that’s some speed.
If it’s on the level of something like a human perceiving it might be impossible.
Well for the kinetic vision of the one who’s a cut above the rest, me(dragon), this is quite slow.
Just that, I should avoid this instead of taking it head on.
My skin is hard as steel, or maybe something above it, but that sword might have some sort of special effect, or is some kind of specialized sword against dragons, it’s a bit dangerous.
“You fool, how impertinent!”
A slash came diagonally from the top, and I countered using one of my nails.
With the collision of the two powers, I won.
The blade fell from it’s base.
“What… the… the magic sword has….”
“Buy a more proper sword, idiot.”
With a smack my tail rammed through the demon lord’s eye.
My tail end has the same sharpness as a spearhead.
At a certain degree I can change the shape of my tail, it’s quite convenient.
With a drip, fresh blood spilled from the corner of the demon lord’s mouth.
Without counter attacking, the demon lord collapsed on his knees to the floor, and couldn’t move anymore.
“Kuku, kukekekeke”
I heard an unpleasant laugh.
Ah~ hah, I know.
That he wouldn’t be defeated just like that.
When I looked towards him, a horn grew out on his head and the whites of his eyes turned red while he stood up.
“So you were the same type as blondey, huh.”
“Kukeke, he’s my son after all! But don’t put me together with that trash!”
You killed your own brat, and on top of that calling him trash.
Completely— can’t be saved.
“Let me show you… My power. Dieeeee!”
The demon lord wook in the surrounding air as much as he can, and converting it into flames, blew it out.
The red flames covered my entire body.
ah~ah~…
“Kukekeke! Turn into asheeeeees!”
When the flames calm downed, the demon lord’s forcefully split opened mouth hardened and it couldn’t be moved anymore.
Ah~ah~, it was seriously lukewarm.
You didn’t even leave a burn mark.
This chihuahua like person is the demon lord? If I was his subordinate I might be so embarrassed I’d probably kill myself.
“Look here, this is how you blow out a breath.”
I’ll show this guy a sample.
I opened my mouth and let out a breath.
All the surfaces within my vision was dyed in heat.
The strong barriers on the walls disappeared in an instant, and in front me most of the walls in the castle melted.
The demon lord?
He turned into some burned dregs.
It was a 10% powered breath, but this guy became well done.
“Your highness!”
Hearing the uproar, a bunch of magic beasts came running up the stairs.
Seeing the demon lord as burned dregs, they were trying to take in the situation.
“Hey, I killed the demon lord, so will you fight me for revenge?”
“………..”
“Hey hey, are you gonna or not?”
“We will not….”
Un, he really was unpopular, that demon lord.
There have already been guys who’ve started running away.
Or rather, that was most of them.
There’s only one guy left anyways.
“Well then… this guy’s saved up treasure or something, I wanna take it but…”
“I’ll show you the way!”
This castle, it seems it’s mostly filled with pushovers.
I was kinda disappointed, so I let out a sigh.
