"Why did you take that out?"

Soo-ah who was following me around saw the ring. If there was a speaking tournament that only used expressions then this girl would win no doubt.

"I'm not giving it to you. Also, you know what this is."

"I wasn't expecting it you know. You didn't take it out for a while. I asked because I'm curious."

"The forest region is pretty large. Until now Edward or Park Han-bum did the recon but it's more dangerous than the wetlands region so I thought it would be more convenient to use monsters."

"But don't you need to feed it items to use it?"

"Yeah. That's why I'm going to get everyone's acceptance."

Even if I was the party leader, I couldn't do everything as I wanted.

There probably wouldn't be anyone who disagrees with my decision but if I didn't at least go through the process of asking their opinion the chemistry between the members might take a blow.

"You could just do it. Even if you don't ask nobody would disagree."

"I still need to ask."

"Do as you want."

While I was talking with Soo-ah everyone had gathered.

Once I gave a simple explanation about how I wanted to create a recon unit using the ring they all nodded at my opinion.

Han Joon-suk opened his mouth first. Truthfully, he was the person that gave the opinions that mattered most after myself.

"As long as it's for the team if it's party leader's opinion, then I have no intention of disagreeing to it. In the future too."

"Me too. I know what party leader is concerned about but I don't think you need to ask us every single time like this."

"Don't ask these kinds of bothersome questions and tell us after doing it. There's no one here that doesn't trust you anyway."

Yeon-gyeong and even Manager Kim followed up with an approval. The others didn't have opinions that differed much.

Han Joon-suk opened his mouth once more.

"Manager Kim does have a point. Since party leader has a leading role in almost everything I believe it is fine for you to abuse your power and feely decide on matters."

"See. I was right."

Soo-ah poked me in the waist. I already knew how much these people trusted me. Although I still thought Manager Kim would grumble a bit.

Either way, since we were talking about it and all I decided to summon right away. The party members crowded around me and sat down saying a few more words.

"If its for recon then flying monsters are the best. I recommend the Red Bald Eagle."

"A flying type is good too but I think the Million Worm that moves around in the ground is good too. It's also good at surprise attacks."

"Better, how about something you can ride? Agentaya Mongol Horse you know. Wouldn't it be nice cause you can ride it as well? It has good attack power too. It would nice if I could ride it with senior brother ah……."

"I, I agree."

Their individual preference is coming out. I was going to make quite a few anyway so I tried making them all.

"…… Senior brother."

"Why?"

"Isn't this over doing it?"

"That's why I got your agreement."

I had a proud smile as I looked at the monsters lined up in front of me.

A total of thirty monsters were looking at me with shining eyes.

If they were enemies then each one would be horrific things but since they were like this they felt rather cute.

For now, 10 Red Bald Eagles. 20 Agentaya Mongol Horses. I also made 5 Million Worms.

The Million Worms were looking at me while only having their head popping out of the ground. They had a sharp jaw bone and compound eyes like insects.

Underground organisms usually had degenerated eyes but as expected of monsters, they had excellent eyesight as well.

"You used up all the items we got in the last 2 weeks yes?"

"Yep."

"Looks like we will be poor this entire expedition."

"Fight me if you have a complaint."

"I'm good."

Soo-ah let out a sigh. She did so, but it wasn't like she was actually thinking that I was pathetic.

Either way, the summoned monsters were loyal servants and could be thought of as an investment.

Han Joon-suk also seemed to think it was amazing as he approached a Million Worm and put a hand on its think body.

The Million Worm's body length alone was 10 meters while it had a diameter of 1 meter or so.

As level 3 monsters unlike the other two level 2s, the 'Milworm' were quite powerful.

They would probably be able to chew and eat a tram.

"It's my first time even seeing a living Milworm but to even be able to touch it first hand……."

"You have peculiar tastes."

At my words, Han Joon-suk shrugged.

Hunters usually didn't like underground insect type monsters.

There was also the fact that they were difficult to kill but it was usually because of the disgust they felt from them being insects.

"Heave ho!"

Soo-ah went to the Agentaya Mongol Horse with Yeon-gyeong.

The horses had saddles equipped from the beginning.

It was like it was an organism that told humans to ride it.

However, you usually got bitten to death before getting close to it, died by getting stabbed with the horn, or died by getting kicked with the back legs.

"Ohh, this is really high."

"That's because it's over 2 meters high."

I said. Soo-ah was agile and able to fly in the sky so she probably wouldn't have any problems riding it. It will probably be hard to Yeon-gyeong though.

"It will stay still right?"

"It at least follows my orders but…… I don't know. I have no idea how it thinks of you."

"We'll know once we get up on it. Well."

Once Soo-ah jumped up on the black horse that was at the front, it turned its head to look at her.

*horse noise*

"Ohh, yes yes. I'm your new owner."

"You know how to ride a horse?"

"There was luckily a horse riding facility near my neighborhood."

"What in the world did you not do?"

"Studying."

"…… Yeah. I asked something pointless."

A sigh came out involuntarily. Yeon-gyeong raised her hand and hopped.

"Elder sister! Me too!"

"I'll help you."

"Ah?"

Heave ho.

I lightly held Yeon-gyeong's waist and held her up.

The Mongol horse was so large that the saddle still had space left over while Soo-ah and Yeon-gyeong were riding it.

I think it's fine to think of it as being two times bigger than a normal horse.

There were ten red eagles flying in the sky.

I was going to leave recon to these guys normally.

They understood words when spoken like Kelby.

The eagles flew around the area and scouted for monsters. We left the remaining monsters at the base camp in case an ambush happened.

Even with just this the safety was much more reassuring. I should have summoned them earlier.

Soo-ah and Yeon-gyeong were going around the lake again and again.

Putting Yeon-gyeong in the front and riding while holding the reins looked like a scene out of a movie.

Maybe because Soo-ah had a large build they actually looked like a couple.

"They look good together."

"Tell me about it."

Han Joon-suk and I let out a laugh. We were playing like that when Edward who couldn't be seen all day appeared from far away.

He was flying above the clouds but he had changed into a shadow.

The crowd of bats hurriedly flew towards me and regained their original form.

"Where did you go to only come now? Quite a bit of time has passed since the sun went down."

"I found something interesting."

"Something interesting?"

"A relic. It seems to be an ancient object."

A relic……?

Relics were usually traces of civilization. As I had never thought that there would have been a civilization at the Yellow Sea I was a bit taken aback.

Of course, things like elves and orcs had the intelligence to build up a civilization.

For now, there was a need to listen in detail.

"What kind of thing is this relic?"

"A relic is a relic. How am I supposed to explain further?"

"You're doing this on purpose right? You should have seen it properly. Say it as you've seen it."

"There was an old looking structure in the forest. It seemed to be connected to the underground so I was going to go in but I am in a situation where I had to escape so I don't know the details."

"An old looking structure? No, more importantly you ran away?"

From what, right when I was going to ask that a roar that shook the forest could be heard.

It automatically made me feel numb and chills climb up my spine. Something like the feeling of running into a tiger.

"Is it that?"

"Ahh, I seemed to have touched something. Something that seemed to be a stone statue suddenly started moving as if it was alive and attacked at light speed so I ran away."

"…… From now on if you find something don't touch it and come report to me first."

"I'll keep that in mind. Either way, since that thing is about to appear do you mind if I go in and hide?"

Should I hit him once?

While I was seriously contemplating the eagles started circling and making long crying sounds. It was saying that the monster was very close.

For now, Cho Young-gu stood at the front with the lake behind him.

Another roar spread out. It was a lot louder than before. The sound of trees getting knocked over could be heard and birds flew away.

"It's in the direction of 11 o'clock with the van as the center."

Han Joon-suk shouted. With his words ending another roar could be heard.

"N, no, 9 o'clock."

The sound of trees getting knocked down. This side was almost getting bored at how unintelligently it was crashing into the trees.

"This time from 1 o'clock direction!"

"What is it! What is going on?"

Manager Kim shouted with a loud voice.

"Calm down!"

No matter how strong it was, I was confident that we could win with this formation.

We had the monster corps on top of that. If the enemy's level was high then they would only be able to keep it in check but they would be plenty to disperse the thing's attention.

"Park Han……!"

Once I turned my head to the direction the sound came from, I could see a monster jumping at Park Han-sol. It was so fast that even I couldn't do anything to stop it.

Park Han-bum used the Hand Cannon. The monster that was going to bite him twisted its body to avoid the attack.

The place it landed was behind Cho Young-gu. It had landed right in the middle of our party members.

"Giant White Tiger!"

It was a monster I expected when I heard the roaring sound. Level 5 Giant White Tiger. As its name implied it was a big white tiger.

It looked just like a tiger but it had a large frame and was incredibly agile.

Its attacks were limited to biting and swinging its front paws but it was said to be hard to kill at the same level due to its agility.

Soo-ah who was the fastest dived in first.

I internally admired how she ran at a 3 meter long predatory animal without fear.

Thor's Hammer that Soo-ah swung was blocked by the Giant White Tiger's front paw.

Sparks flew but it didn't look like it was affected at all.

Soo-ah also didn't seem to care as she swung the hammer again.

The speed at which she swung the hammer was slow compared to the speed of her movement.

However, it was only relatively slow. It was enough to match up to the Giant White Tiger's speed.

"Eat this!"

I swung my Hunter Sword as I joined in late.

The monster that had its escape path cut off by Soo-ah raised its front paw to meet my sword.

Its nail that hit my sword got cut off just like that. Its the conclusion of a mere level 5 monster raising its paw at the level 8 sword.

As if it was greatly perturbed it growled in a low voice and jumped back.

It was a jump that passed Soo-ah's height.
