After a few days, Xue Yun Feng found me again looking unhappy. Once he saw me, he became more unhappy. “So you were the one who told Jiang Li?”

I took the file to look it over, this is a clothing company’s advertising plan. This clothing company is still a small business. Nothing new. Although I work in an advertising company, I’m still not so familiar with the advertising plans. So after flipping through the plan for a while I honestly answered, “Chief Wang, you know that I’m don’t really understand these advertisement plannings. However, if you put the clothes in front me, I surely would be able to tell if they are good or not.”

Wang Kai comfortably leans back. “It’s alright even if you don’t understand. As long as you know what is needed of you.”

He made me even more confused. “What and what?! Why can’t you for once try to explain things in a clearly? This is like a big old grandpa walking a bird! Aren’t you tired?!”

“Xiao Yan Yan ah, your temper is becoming more and more abrupt and more celebrity-like huh.” Wang Kai laughed and continued on with his nonsense. He appreciated my impatient look and said, “This is a commercial for fashion print ads, will you consider taking the job as a model?”

I am surprised and cannot believe my own ears. “What……what did you say?”

So Wang Kai repeated his words again and did not forget to add one more sentence. “Are you going to cry out of joy?”

I really have the urge to smack him with the papers in my hand. Ridiculous. How ridiculous! I’m doing just fine as a secretary, why on earth would I be a print ad model? Besides, just look at me. Although I often deny the fact that I have poor body shape, but I know myself well enough. If you’d known Jiang Li, you’ll know that if he didn’t laugh at my poor body shape for just one day, he would never be able to enjoy any of his meals……with my figure, you have the face to make me a model? Even if you do have the face, I don’t……

So I took a deep breath, making sure that I’m calm enough. I stared at Wang Kai, and said gloomily, “Chief Wang, tell me the truth. Do you want that company to lose profit? What did they do to you?”

Wang Kai grinned, “Xiao Yan Yan, be confident in yourself. Honestly speaking, your body ratio is not so bad, despite the fact that puberty didn’t hit some parts of your body……besides, you have a pure and innocent looking face. Our commercial is meant to give off a feel of a young, positive, and energetic feel.”

I rolled my eyes and said, “Oh please, I’m soon going to be thirty. The perfect word to describe me would be something like mature, sexy, and charismatic. You called me pure and innocent. Is this supposed to be a compliment or an insult?”

Wang Kai sized me up, then said with pity, “To be honest with you, I compliment other women with words such as mature and sexy, but you……I simply couldn’t.”

I no longer worry about my image, slamming my hand on the table with fire coming out of my eyes. “What the hell do you mean!”

Wang Kai lifted his head up and stared at me, those eyes were obviously unfrightened by me. He laughed, “What I’m trying to say is that this commercial is a nice fit for you. Don’t forget that the pay is fairly high too.”

My face eased with the mention of the word “pay.” But the thought of him asking me to be a model for no reason is not making me feel secured at all, so I asked Wang Kai. “ I’m still not so sure, we are not on a model shortage…why take me, a dabbler? No, wait. A total outsider?”

Wang Kai smiled in an enchanting and annoying matter, “Hahaha, I think this advertisement is quite interesting so I took it. All thanks to my charismatic character, I was able to capture everyone’s heart.”

I waved my hand to stop him, “Stop, stop, what does this have to do with me?”

Wang Kai blinked innocently, “Do you not understand? I’m the male-lead, but this commercial still needs a female-lead.”

I have tons of flaws, but the best part about me is probably my thick skin. If he wants me to be a model, I will be a model. Since the manufacturers are not afraid of slow-moving products. Since the company isn’t afraid of the product being scrapped, why should I care?! Of course, if it wasn’t for all of Wang Kai’s so-called lucrative remuneration. If it wasn’t because of the promised added bonus to my annual salary, I would flip his wall. Even if I die I will not stand here to be teased.

Just when I finished clipping my bangs to the top of my face, all that is revealed is my baby fat face. Two strands of braided hair hang upon my chest and on the top of my head is covered by a knitted red hat. My feets are dressed with small pink cotton boots while I wear a super cute floral jacket. When I appeared in front of Wang Kai, he couldn’t hold it in for even a second and immediately burst out laughing. My eyes tracing his stupid face ignoring his reaction. To tell the truth, when I changed I just stood in front of the mirror looking at my makeover. I do feel a little shameful for dressing like this despite my old age. However, if you do not see the face, you can’t ignore the fact that I really do look like a seventeen to an eighteen-year-old little girl…

When Wang Kai has laughed enough, he tugged on the ball on top my hat. “This style looks pretty good.”

With my face still maintaining its poker style, I commented. “You ah, You won’t be having this constipated look, right?” Jokingly up till now, I’m afraid that the theme of the advertisement would shift to ‘energetic girl against the courageous big wolf.’

Wang Kai who seems to have a card up his sleeves, smoothly answers. “I have already planned out the design. Just wait for the show to start.” Saying this, he walks straight into the dressing room.

Once Wang Kai walks in the room, I let out a deep sigh. My heart only thinking of how clothes make a person and saddles make a horse. With the way he is dressed, I guess he can pass as a normal person.

At this time, Wang Kai pulled all his hair into the back of his head, revealing the perfect line of his face. Suddenly, he seems a little less frivolous, a little more unruly. Wang Kai soon walks to my front, tilting his head and softly smiling at me. This makes me feel as if he is the boy next door type oozing out such manliness…..Do not ah, he is actually very wretched okay!

Wang Kai massaged my neck, chuckling, “How is it? Pretty nice, right? Have you fallen for me yet?” I clutched my chin nodding. Very good, his one sentence is back to the original topic.

The process of taking pictures went smoothly. Although I am not professional, if I can go along fully matching along the stylist and the cameramen and adding on with some flexible expressions and movements….even if forced, it should be alright.

When we finished taking pictures, the cameramen nodded his head in satisfaction. “Not bad.”

However, Wang Kai came out giving constructive criticism almost like a pro, “I think I made some unnatural expressions, why don’t we try again tomorrow?”

The cameramen also nodded his head professionally.

Whilst, the unprofessional me laments on another side: Does that mean I will have to bear with being little red riding hood while stepping into my small cotton boots just to be ravaged?

It wasn’t until very much later had I found out how wrong I was. At that time, I wasn’t just wrong, I have caused a catastrophe to befall myself. I need to withstand this suffering not only for tomorrow but as well as tomorrow + after tomorrow + later’s tomorrow’s tomorrow. 
Wang Kai seems to be very much addicted to playing red little riding hood and her big brother that it went dragging on for about a week or so. If it wasn’t until the grew tired of us that he will run when he see us, I’m afraid that he would drag it on for a whole year.
