Li Yao stammered again, “How is the Covenant Alliance related to the Gods’ Mausoleum?”
“Opening the Gods’ Mausoleum has been one of the Covenant Alliance’s purposes since it was established!”
Li Linghai said, “Think about it. The people of the Covenant Alliance believe in the Path of Ultimate Benevolence under the boundary of the three fundamental laws. They consider themselves as the simple tools of the primeval civilizations. So, the only significance of their lives is to wake up or resurrect the primeval civilizations.
“The Gods’ Mausoleum, on the other hand, is likely to be a shelter of the ultimate experts of the primeval age. Opening the Gods’ Mausoleum means restoring the glory of the primeval age. When the Covenant Alliance learns of the Gods’ Mausoleum, how could they not be interested in it?”
“It does make sense.”
Li Yao scratched his head and said, “That is to say, the Covenant Alliance’s ultimate purpose is to open the Gods’ Mausoleum and wake up the primeval experts. The greatest reasoning of the conservatives was that the Flood might be wandering beyond the black wall and would destroy the Pangu universe the moment it detected the Pangu universe.
However, the very existence of Li Yao had proved that the black wall was not insurmountable and that the information from the universe outside could come in!

“Such a life form does not have the concept of individuals. Small communities make up a big community, and big communities make up a tribe. It’s like our body is made of countless cells and the loss of several cells does not mean that we’re dead. For the collective civilizations, the loss of half of their individuals does not mean that those individuals are dead.
“Individual wisdom and collective wisdom have their own advantages. Neither of them is better than the other. Human beings are individuals under normal circumstances, but with the genes of the Houyi Clan, we can activate certain techniques invented with the collective wisdom. That’s exactly the mysteries of the Divinity Branching Stage.
