Jian Yiling stared at the man in front of her. He had a pained expression on his face, however, he was still smiling. It seemed as though he was planning to crack a joke at any time.
This was the first time in her life that someone was determined to save her without any regard for what she could do or what she could offer to them. In fact, they didn’t even care about their own health and body.
Jian Yiling couldn’t understand why he was doing this. However, there was a warm feeling in her heart.
When the middle-aged man saw the situation, he became a little nervous. However, the situation did not allow him to retreat.
Besides, he didn’t believe that the young man in front of him could threaten his boss. The young man didn’t seem to be in very good health. How could such a person achieve anything? How could he threaten their boss?

At that moment, the middle-aged man’s phone rang.
He saw that it was a video call from his boss.
The middle-aged man immediately picked up the phone.
“Let her go! Give her back to the man in front of you!”
As soon as the call was answered, the old woman gave the middle-aged man an order.

Although the man was not directly visible in the video, it could be seen from the old woman’s face that the man’s presence was incredibly intimidating.
The middle-aged man suddenly understood the seriousness of the situation.
Something had happened to his Boss.
Someone had gone straight to their Boss. In fact, they were even threatening their Boss.
As far as he could remember, there was only a handful of people who could make their Boss panic like that!
When the middle-aged man looked at Zhai Yunsheng again, his gaze and expression completely changed.
After a moment of contemplation, he hurriedly asked his subordinates to let Jian Yiling go.
The two women who were holding onto Jian Yiling loosened their grip.
The bodyguards around them acted immediately.
As soon as she was let go, Jian Yiling ran towards Zhai Yunsheng.
Zhai Yunsheng also attempted to run forward.
However, after only two steps, he felt that something was wrong with his body. And thus, he stopped in his tracks and waited for Jian Yiling to come to him.
Jian Yiling ran up to Zhai Yunsheng. She looked at him unblinkingly.
Zhai Yunsheng reached out his hand. However, he stopped halfway.
Then, Zhai Yunsheng said to his bodyguards, “Slap them.”
The empty factory was suddenly filled with a series of ‘slaps’.
One after another.
Then, Zhai Yunsheng looked back at Jian Yiling. He was about to speak.
However, a strong sense of discomfort hit him.
Following that, he was plunged into darkness.
Zhai Yunsheng’s body began to collapse.
Jian Yiling instinctively opened her arms to try and catch Zhai Yunsheng’s falling body.
At that moment, she forgot that she could not hold Zhai Yunsheng’s body with her strength.
Fortunately, Zhai Yunsheng was surrounded by his quick-witted bodyguards.
The moment Jian Yiling’s arms wrapped around Zhai Yunsheng’s waist, his bodyguards were already holding him up.
