The Fourth Order Devil Flames were incredibly tyrannical. As the all-consuming flames slammed into the energy shield, they went through it, burning 2 fist-sized holes.

Ouyang Wu Mie looked on in shock, exclaiming in spite of himself, "Impossible!!"

The blue energy shield made use of the energy conversion technology. At the same time, the energy converter system within this room was equipped with 10 Type 4 Mutant Beast nuclei, allowing the shield to resist even the assaults of a Mid-Grade Dino-General for at least 20 minutes. Seeing Yue Zhong burning through it, Ouyang Wu Mie was naturally taken aback.

"The Fourth Order Devil Flames are truly terrifying!!" Yue Zhong eyed the 2 holes, his eyes filled with excitement. He had not expected his Devil Flames to go through so easily.

The moment the 2 holes appeared, Yue Zhong forced his way in, his eyes flashing with a resolute gaze and he punched out towards Ouyang Wu Mie.

Ouyang Wu Mie was an experienced combatant himself. Although he had used some other means of entering the Type 5 realm, he was truly a Type 5 warrior. Even without the Type 4 Battle Armor, his strength was terrifying.

At the moment of life-and-death, Ouyang Wu Mie met Yue Zhong's gaze with a vicious look of his own, his entire body glowing green. A powerful field of ice shards appeared out of mid-air, piercing towards Yue Zhong, as he retreated backward with a tap of his foot.

Behind him, the wall opened up to reveal a tunnel leading to goodness-knows-where.

Ouyang Wu Mie was an extremely careful person. Even if he had plenty of experts besides him, with tight security, he had left various means of escape for himself.

The ice shards were formed from the terrifying ability of ice. If they were to strike the body, even a Mid-Grade Dino-General would suffer. However, if Yue Zhong were to dodge the strike, Ouyang Wu Mie would be able to escape through the tunnel.

Waiting within this castle, when the other experts rushed over, Yue Zhong would have to flee or be killed.

Yue Zhong's eyes flashed with a vicious light, his body covered with a thick layer of Dark Dou Qi and blazing Devil Flames. He did not dodge nor evade, instead, he sent out punches to meet the incoming ice shards, shattering them.

The ice shards that came hailing down on Yue Zhong were melted by the Devil Flames surrounding Yue Zhong. However, a few managed to get past the defense and pierced into his body.

Currently, Yue Zhong was equipped with an under armor made out of the scales of a Type 5 Triceratops, and the ice shards that had managed to get past the flames were already melted halfway, thus, shattering into bits when they slammed into the armor. The force dissipated across his body, negated by his Third Order Body of Steel, giving him a slightly uncomfortable feeling.

"Monster!!"

Ouyang Wu Mie saw how Yue Zhong was forcefully charging through his field of ice, and his eyes flashed with shock.

The next moment, Yue Zhong arrived in front of Ouyang Wu Mie, his intimidating and imposing figure sending out a punch towards his head.

Ouyang Wu Mie could only bring up his right hand to block in front of his face.

Yue Zhong's fist was shrouded in the Dark Dou Qi, empowering his punch and causing a surge of force to burst out, slamming Ouyang Wu Mie's fist against his own face.

Ouyang Wu Mie was sent slamming into the wall viciously, his entire nose bridge broken, blood flowing down his mouth.

The moment Yue Zhong got the upper hand, he dashed forwards and prepared to unleash a flurry of blows.

Ouyang Wu Mie's head was slightly sprained from that blow, but even so, he did not stop resisting. With a thought, he summoned out more ice shards and formed a 2m-thick ice wall in front of him.

It was an ability that he had when he reached the Type 5 stage. Its defense was incredibly thick and could surpass the energy shields.

Every special ability had their pros and cons, while ice-related abilities tend to be stronger in defense, Yue Zhong's Devil Flame was weaker in defense but stronger in offense.

Ouyang Wu Mie knew he was not Yue Zhong's match, thus he decided to drag out the time till reinforcements arrived. That would be his victory.

"Ouyang Wu Mie, are you afraid now? Today will be your death day!!"

Yue Zhong shot towards the ice block, and with a powerful roar, he activated his Third Order Art of Fear, sending a tyrannical Spiritual attack towards Ouyang Wu Mie.

"Am I going to die here today?"

Originally, even with Yue Zhong casting the Third Order Art of Fear with his Type 5 Divine Warrior constitution, it would not affect Ouyang Wu Mie too greatly. However, Ouyang Wu Mie had been bested a few times and was already feeling fear towards Yue Zhong. He was enveloped by the Art of Fear, and his fears were amplified, thus, making him vulnerable to the attack.

The moment he fell into the hallucination, he had no way of maintaining the 2m-thick ice wall.

"Break for me!!"

Yue Zhong yelled out in anger, bringing his fists wrapped in Devil Flames down towards the block of ice.

The powerful Devil Flame blazed out, melting the huge ice instantly, and with a loud crack, it broke apart.

"No!"

Ouyang Wu Mie watched his final trump card smashed to pieces and his spirit crumbled further, allowing the Art of Fear to full envelop his despairing mind.

With a cold gaze, Yue Zhong sent a chop towards the back of Ouyang Wu Mie's head, knocking him out.

After that, he pointed at his brain, sending a Type 5 Puppet Rune into Ouyang Wu Mie's head.

Ouyang Wu Mie then stirred awake, before saluting respectfully to Yue Zhong, "Ouyang Wu Mie greets Master!"

"Not bad! Seems like as long as I don't encounter any Mid-Grade Dino-Generals, within the Type 5 realm, I'm of pretty decent strength."

Yue Zhong looked at Ouyang Wu Mie who had been turned into a puppet and felt satisfied. In the battle against this Type 5 Divine Warrior, he had truly felt his growth and noticed that he was not weak at all compared to other Type 5 Divine Warriors.

"General!! Are you alright??"

Barely 15 seconds after Yue Zhong subdued Ouyang Wu Mie, 20 elite Xue Luo guards came charging into the hall, the leader asked with worry when he caught sight of the carnage within the room.

Ouyang Wu Mie looked at the soldiers that came in and replied, "I'm alright! Thanks to captain Jia Yu and Zhang Li, I got wind that Zhang He and 5 others had already joined the rebels and were plotting against me. When they were exposed, they tried to kill me, but they failed. Wei Zhen, go get 8 people to replace Zhang He and his team!"

"Yes! General!"

A Xue Luo captain was swiftly dispatched to gather 7 other warriors and they came reporting to the hall.

The leader of the group frowned as he asked out of doubt, "General, there's something that doesn't add up. In order to kill Zhang He and the 5 traitors, why did you cut off the control of our Central Computer within the 20th Fort? You even called for an urgent gathering, summoning the troops here?"

In order to deal with the Super A.I that Yue Zhong possessed, Ouyang Wu Mie had actually cut off the link between the central computer and the automated weapons, while summoning all the soldiers of the 20th Fort. Those actions had caused a huge uproar among the soldiers.

The captain could not understand how Zhang he and the rest were a threat to warrant such actions.

When Ouyang Wu Mie was questioned, his face turned green and white, before suddenly roaring with rage, "Do I need you to teach me when I'm doing things, Jin Hui?! As the leader of the troops in the castle, you were actually kept in the dark about your own subordinates being traitors!! Are you still interested in your damn position?! From today onwards, you're stripped of your role! Go wait in the correctional chamber and await further orders!! When I'm done cleaning up the mess here, I'll be back to mete out your punishment!!"

"Angry from embarrassment!!"

Many of the Xue Luo guards had this thought, but they kept mum. Ouyang Wu Mie was still the man with the most authority here, even though he had to justify a killing of a Xue Luo guard, he could send them on a suicide mission, hence, no one was willing to antagonize him.

"Yes! General!"

Jin Hui's face turned pale, not daring to say much. He quickly saluted, and took off his own equipment, before heading out to the correctional chamber.

The military treatment and hierarchy in the 20 Xue Luo Forts were incredibly tight and strict. If Jin Hui disobeyed, Ouyang Wu Mie had the option of declaring his insubordination as an excuse to have him killed.

Ouyang Wu Mie then spoke solemnly, "Luo Jun, go send men to Generals Qing Yuan, Wei Jiang, Yu Liu, Shi Yu, Pi Zhen, Huang Kun and Qu Zhong, get them to gather here in 3 days. I have things to discuss with them."

"Understood! General!" One of the Xue Luo guards replied, before heading out.

Ouyang Wu Mie waved his hands, "The rest of you, dismissed!"

They quickly went out the room, leaving Ouyang Wu Mie and the new 8 guards.

He told the 8 guards while pointing to the floor, "Wei Zhen, the 8 of you, clean this place up!"

"Yes! General!"

They then began to get to work, erasing traces of all battle.

Ouyang Wu Mie stood up and went behind the 2 of them noiselessly, suddenly chopping behind their necks, knocking them unconscious.
