Chapter 240 - Everything has its conqueror

Each long skinny figure plunged into the gray yin, quickly covering the area. The figures wanted to wrap around Shi Yan and Cui Bi tightly.

Inside the fuzzy yin, many long skinny figures started to appear more and more clearly. These were special beasts with humanlike children’s faces, a dreary pale look, mouth full of fangs.

This beast was three meters high with a firm body, white childlike face, and long fangs. It looked terribly dreary.

The demon child’s body projected powerful yin, the soul of this creature was extremely special. In their brain, they seemed to have a special layer of flesh to prevent any soul attacks.

Their movements were fast. With a slight sway, they were already in the sky plunging more than four hundred meters.

In a moment, three demon children appeared, showing their powers, getting close to Shi Yan and Cui Bi below.

The demon children flew around, formed along a flow of misty smoke. Their speed was extremely fast, even Shi Yan’s eyes could not follow their figures, only relying on the sense of the Soul Consciousness in knowing their direction.

Was it because the three demon children could feel the powerful burning fire inside Shi Yan that they only came close but did not slaughter him yet. They hovered above Shi Yan and Cui Bi awaiting for something.

The Earth Flame absorbed the sun power of the Sun Refined Spirits, the earth flame transformed quickly, its intelligence had recently increased, the fire power was stronger than what Shi Yan had expected, it nearly had the nature power against the icy power of the Ice Cold Flame.

Being burnt by the Heaven Flame, Shi Yan’s body also transformed miraculously, he was able to receive more of the fire power of the Earth Flame, each wave of the burning fire from the Earth Flame was absorbed unto all the nerves and veins in his body. Shi Yan felt warm and unpainful, not like when his system was being burnt as before.

His mind slightly shook.

“Screech” Three Demon children suddenly made strange piercing shrieks.  Seeing the burning fire coming, the very blue eyes of the three demon children looked extremely terrified, they all tried to escape.

“Stay!” Shi Yan shouted, his spirits transformed again.

Each wave of the burning fire exploded, it turned into countless of burning points covering the whole area surrounding it. The burning points were dense like drizzling rain, covered all corners of the area. After the explosion, the weak power for the burning fire which had been compensated with quantity had left the three demon children with no place to hide.

“Swoosh” The three demon children’s bodies were hit by the burning fire, immediately projecting white smoke.

For the demon children’s bodies were made of icy energy, the burning fire points were like the strongest acid in the world, rotting their bodies in a blink. The burning fire once touching the demon children, their bodies immediately were eroded into big holes.

These demon children’s body were conquered by the burning fire points of the Earth Flame. The burning fire points spread out into the sky. The three demon children wailed terribly, smoke was coming out from their bodies, their movements were also much slower.

“The devil of these three demon children are solid enough?” Shi Yan turned his head towards Cui Bi, saw her avoiding look, she was initially moving further away from him. Cui Bi only responded when he asked, quickly nodding her head.

“Devils are all solid!”

Heaven flame! It was absolutely the heaven power!

Many big waves of confusions appeared in Cui Bi’s mind, her clear eyes looked fearful. She started to be scared of Shi Yan. She knew how dangerous the demon children were. They were all sound beasts, but the demon children could be immune to the burning fire. They were not scared of being hit by the normal burning fire. Thus, they continued to slaughter around, attacking the Demonic Sound Clan’s people.

However, the burning fire projected by Shi Yan had made the demon children’s bodies erode once it touched them. They were almost grounded into ashes. What kind of power was this?

Only with the legendary nemesis of the sound beasts – the burning firepower of the Heaven Flame could reach that level!

Cui Bi had never seen the Heaven Flame, she had learned from her father the legend about the Heaven Flame conquering the sound beasts. The extremely hot Heaven Flame was exactly the most terrifying conqueror of the sound beasts.

To the Demonic Sound Clan, wasn’t this also a frightening thing?

The Demonic Sound Clan’s physical bodies belonged to the cold yin, although their soul was very powerful, once the extremely hot Heaven Flame touched them, the result was not any better than that of the sound beasts.

The devil of demon children contains many souls and yin. It is very useful for our cultivation. If relying only on the Demonic Sound Clan’s strength, there is no way to collect the devil balls. Only the Wings Race can hunt the demon children down. They will use the devil balls of demon children to exchange for the most valuable things of the Demonic Sound Clan…”
