Emperor Wu shook his head when he heard the bickering. He then looked around the courtyard, as if he was searching for someone.
Soon, he found the person he was looking for.
He was astonished. Lady Ling was even more beautiful than he remembered.
Just then, they heard footsteps outside.
It sounded like a trained army.

Someone pounded on the front gate.
Emperor Wu frowned. He barely had time to look at his goddess. How dare these people disturb him?
The knocking went on and became louder.
Someone shouted, “Open up! Surround Fallen Star Yard!”
Who was that?
Everyone was perplexed.
Feng Wu said, “Wait here. I’ll have a look.”
Feng Wu opened the gate and saw hundreds of people outside. Their armor shone coldly in the torchlight.
Two men led the team. One of them was dressed like a general and had a fierce look in his eyes.
He stared at Feng Wu the moment she opened the door. It was obvious that she was his target.

Feng Wu frowned and looked at Feng Yanfeng, who was standing next to the general.
He had hidden away in his own house ever since the incident with Lady Gu, but he couldn’t do that anymore.
He had no idea what visitors Fallen Star Yard had at the moment. He stared at Feng Wu and said, “How could you do such a thing?!”
Feng Wu had no intention of letting them in.
Even when she saw all the heavily-armed soldiers, she remained perfectly calm.

Before she could say anything, the general spoke. “Feng Wu, you’re suspected of usurping the throne. I’m going to arrest you now. If you resist, I’m going to kill you!”

Feng Wu wanted to laugh. Why would she want the throne?
She said, “And you are?”
Feng Yanfeng said, “This is General Dugu Menghai, the heir to the Dugu family and the vice-captain of the imperial guards.”
Feng Wu said, “I see. Vice-captain Dugu, is it?”
Dugu Menghai’s face darkened.
