“What’s the level of the formation in this mine?” Shao Xiao asked.
Feng Wu thought for a moment before saying, “Level 8 and a half. To be more precise, the outer circle is Level 8, and the center is Level 8 and a half.”
Shao Xiao stared at Feng Wu in surprise.
The others stared at Shao Xiao.
Shao Xiao had said that there were 80,000 tunnels underground, which meant that he knew the Secret Essence Mine better than anyone else.
“Is that true?” the others all asked him.
The question roused Shao Xiao from his astonishment. He looked from Feng Wu to the others before he nodded repeatedly.

Ling Hao immediately realized how she had known. “Feng Wu, you really understand this formation! Can you break through it?”
Feng Wu shook her head. “No, I can’t, but it’s really easy to walk through it and reach the central area.”
‘Really easy.’
Everyone stared at her in resignation. It was anything but easy!
They were thrilled that they had teamed up with such a capable cultivator.
Feng Wu said, “I’ll take the lead. You guys hold the rope and follow me. Don’t get lost. Remember, there are 80,000 tunnels down here. Take a wrong turn, and you may be trapped here forever.”
Hearing her grave tone, the others grew serious as well.
They walked in silence.
Feng Wu said, “We should be out in three hours.”
The others nodded. That was much better than they had expected.
About an hour later, they heard someone crying for help.
“Help! Help me!”
Cheng Fang said nervously, “It’s Ye Han! Ye Han’s in danger! Feng Wu, please help her!”
The others didn’t say anything, but deep down, they hoped that Feng Wu would help her.
Feng Wu smirked. “Do you know where her team is right now?”
Cheng Fang shook his head.
“They’re 30,000 tunnels away from us,” Feng Wu said grumpily.
“How can we hear her, then?” Cheng Fang was perplexed.
Feng Wu said, “Because of the formation.”
Seeing that Feng Wu was growing impatient, Cheng Fang didn’t dare say another word.
Shao Xiao nodded at Cheng Fang.
Ye Han and her teammates had been so arrogant and rude to Feng Wu. Why should she help them?
“But…” Cheng Fang felt conflicted.
“These are human lives we’re talking about here, and Ye Han isn’t the only one. There are at least ten of them, including Xuecheng Team,” Cheng Fang said in a low voice.
Feng Wu glanced at him. “Take this.”
She then put a paper crane in his hand. She had just made it herself.
She casually said, “This paper crane will take you to them.”
Cheng Fang couldn’t believe his ears.
Feng Wu said, “Go ahead. I thought you wanted to save them.”
Cheng Fang said, “I… I…”
Feng Wu said, “After you find them, follow the paper crane. It’ll take you to the core of the formation.
“I’ll only wait three hours. If you still haven’t come by then, I’ll open the core and leave this place with your other teammates.”
Cheng Fang felt like crying.
He hadn’t planned to help Ye Han himself. Why had it suddenly become his mission?
