He had believed the door was sealed and could only be opened from outside. How had these people opened it?

“Mr. Yang, do a headcount,” he told Mr. Yang.

Mr. Yang nodded and checked the name list.

He sounded worried when he said, “We’re short one person.”

“Who?” the others asked.

Just then, someone ran toward them, shouting, “Where’s Shan Jingfei? Has anyone seen her?”

It was none other than Qiu Zeyu, Shan Jingfei’s boyfriend.

He had come here in a hurry when he received the news, but he couldn’t find Shan Jingfei anywhere.

He rushed to Xue Hao’s side and asked, “Xue Hao, where’s Shan Jingfei? I told Xuecheng Team to look after her! Where is she now?!”

Xue Hao was reminded of what Shan Jingfei had done in the mine. His eyes went red, and he was so furious that he couldn’t say a word.

“Look at the stretchers!” He glared at Qiu Zeyu.

He was referring to Ye Hongxue and Lin Juncheng.

Qiu Zeyu glanced at them without paying much attention. He went on asking, “Where’s Shan Jingfei? DId you lose her?”

Then he heard a whimper.

Everyone looked in the direction of the noise.

They saw Cui Ping and Wu Qing, two members of Xuecheng Team.

They were escorting a person.

The person was gagged and wearing a black cloth over the head. Because of that, the person could only whimper.

Qiu Zeyu found the person’s figure familiar, so he pulled off the black cloth.

Everybody saw who it was.

“Feifei!” Qiu Zeyu’s eyes widened when he saw Shan Jingfei. He looked from Xuecheng Team to their prisoner and was infuriated.

He pulled Shan Jingfei away from the two team members and shouted, “What do you think you’re doing?!”

Qiu Zeyu was a member of the second-seeded team and a top 10 student in Class A. Xuecheng Team wasn’t his match.

They couldn’t do anything when Qiu Zeyu dragged Shan Jingfei away.

Qiu Zeyu removed the rope around Shan Jingfei’s wrists and took out the cloth that was in her mouth. “Feifei, are you alright?”

Shan Jingfei was filled with resentment and frustration, and she finally found an outlet.

She burst into tears and wrapped her arms around Qiu Zeyu. “Zeyu, help me… They want to kill me! Please help me!”

Feng Wu wanted to sigh.

She considered herself to be a good actress, but Shan Jingfei’s acting was on a completely different level.
