Director Li was quiet.

He knew Mo Liuxi well. He hated those who pulled strings to succeed.

“I understand now, now I know why you flared your temper.” Li Ming sighed. “Kid, you’re good. Yan Su, you should just be his girlfriend. I regret not having a daughter myself. I would really want him to be my son-in-law.”

“I only want to be Yan Su parent’s son-in-law.” Mo Liuxi grinned and looked at Yan Su.

Yan Su was still feeling anxious and worried about him. She blushed and quickly changed the topic. “You’re hurt, stop talking so much.”

“Yeah, I nearly forgot. I’m really in a lot of pain. I think I lost too much blood. I don’t have energy now.” Mo Liuxi slumped weakly on her shoulder.

Mo Liuxi frowned. He hadn’t wanted them to find out about this yet. “I’m okay, there’s no need to come over. It’s so late and you’re pregnant.”

When he finally came out of the room, she rushed forward and asked, “Doctor, is he alright?”

The doctor said, “Thankfully, his blood vessels and nerves are unharmed. He lost quite a bit of blood so we will have to transfuse him. He should rest his arm completely while the wound heals, which means he should lay off all chores. You are his girlfriend, aren’t you? You should help his with washing up and bathing.”
