Jiang Yuning started sweating. He wiped his forehead and changed the topic. “Um… Xi, I bought a small gift for your brother, because visiting him empty-handed seems inappropriate.”
“Is it in that small box over there?” Nian Xi raised her brows. She noticed the gift box long ago. “What is it?”
“I don’t know. Uncle Han told me to give it to him. He said your brother will certainly like it,” said Jiang Yuning.
“Uncle Han is such an old fox. Do you still trust him? Let me take a look.” Nian Xi took the gift box over and opened it. She was stunned. In the box was a translucent, pink bathrobe, decorated with exquisite cherry blossoms.
“Wow! My brother might really like this.”
“What is it?” Jiang Yuning was curious.
Nian Xi hurriedly closed the box and said, “You don’t need to know. Just give it straight to my brother later.”
