It was late in June.
The gates of Xia City University were completely blocked from fans from all over.
Recently, there were a couple of child actors who enrolled in the university. Normally, there would be plenty of reporters around the vicinity, but since the school was having exams, Chi Shengxu and Yan Su were coming back for exams as well.
There was a big group of entertainment reporters camping outside the school gates early in the morning. When Yan Su got out of the car, a group of them swarmed up to her and said, “Susu, you’re taking your master’s exam today, right? You’ve been busy preparing for your upcoming tour! How are exam preparations coming along? Are you confident?”
“I’m feeling alright, I think I can scrape a pass!” Yan Su smiled and waved. “I have to head in now. Goodbye!”
When she entered the school building, a group of juniors came up to her to ask for her signature. Luosang walked over after a long time. “Yan senior, can you take a photo with me?”
Yan Su smiled and hugged her. “Xu senior, you can even hug me!”
“Wow, look at your dark eye circles! You’ve been working hard recently, haven’t you?” Luosang remarked after taking a proper look at Yan Su.
“I’m alright! I’ve just had to spend a lot of time on my thesis paper,” Yan Su said.
Luosang grabbed her hands and walked to the main building. “We haven’t seen each other in so long! Let’s grab lunch together later.”
Yan Su nodded her head in agreement.
At around 11:40 a.m., Yan Su was still racking her brains to answer the last question, but Luosang was already standing in the corridors in a relaxed manner.
She sighed. She had always admired Luosang for her intelligence. She had photographic memory, but she could only be envious about her special ability.
In the end, she was not able to finish the last question, and she walked out only when the bell rang. “Sangsang, how did you finish the paper so quickly?”
“It was just regurgitation and memory work. It’s quite manageable for me.” Luosang smiled and said, “I thought that it was going to be very difficult, but when I did the practice questions, I realized that it was quite easy.”
Yan Su fell silent. She felt like she should not even have asked her that question. Served herself right.
“Of course, I think the music department has harder questions,” Luosang quickly added when she saw that Yan Su had gone silent.
“Sangsang, I feel like you’re beginning to resemble Mr. Nian more and more,” Yan Su said casually.
“Really? I guess so…” Luosang rubbed her nose with embarrassment. “Oh, right! What do you want to have? Shall we go to the grilled fish stall like we used to?”
Before she could finish, Yan Su’s phone rang, and it was Jiang Peiying. She said over the phone, “Are you done with your exams? We’re waiting outside your school gate.”
Yan Su was shocked. “Why are you…?”
“Liuxi wanted Yan Yan to come over to play, so I decided to send her over myself. Yan Jin said that he wanted to stay and watch your concert as well, and I thought that we would all come over together. We haven’t seen your new place yet. Oh, right! We were also thinking of meeting Mo Liuxi’s parents this time. It has been about half a year, and it’s about time since you two are engaged now. Liuxi said that he’ll arrange everything once your tour ends.”
Yan Su was completely taken aback, overwhelmed by all the new information.
She wondered why she had no clue about whatever she had just said. Mo Liuxi did not update her either.
“How did you come to my school? Did someone give you a ride?” she was asking if Mo Liuxi had given them a ride.
“Nope, I haven’t told him yet,” Jiang Peiying answered. “He’s having exams too in a couple of days, right? I didn’t want to disturb him. Come on out, I’m reaching your school soon.”
