Luosang had never been the slightest bit chubby. On hearing what he said, she pulled his hands away in a moment of vexation. “I’m already three months pregnant and my waist is definitely going to be larger. If you don’t want that, then stop touching me.”
“How can that be? I like touching pigs.” Nian Junting quickly grabbed her again.
Luosang was quite offended. “Are you going to keep speaking that way? I’ve only gained three kilograms, and you’re calling me a pig.”
Nian Junting blinked indignantly. “What I mean is, you’ll turn into a pig sooner or later anyways, so I’m just pre-empting you so that you won’t let your mind run wild about a poor body image later on.”

The first session of Xu Zhengxuan’s court case was at An City on the 30th of July at 2:00 pm.
Luosang was about to go on summer vacation. She had an examination that day and thought of applying for a leave of absence, but Nian Junting did not allow it. He said the fourth year of college was most stressful and now that she was pregnant, it would be much easier for her in the next semester if she could pass her examinations early.
However, Luosang could not shake the thought of Xu Zhengxuan’s case off her mind.
When her examination ended at noon, Lu Kang immediately picked her up and drove her to the airport, where she took a plane to An City.
When she reached the courthouse, it was already 3:00 pm. There was a crowd of reporters outside the courthouse. When the news broke that Xu Zhengxuan would appeal, it ignited a flurry of public attention.
The reporters had already arrived early in the morning before the court was in session.
As Luosang stepped out of the car and walked towards the entrance, a crowd of reporters surrounded her. “Ms Xu, Xu Zhengxuan was able to submit an appeal successfully this time. Did Mr. Nian pull some strings?”
“I heard that the victims from then have passed on. Is this how you’re planning on gaining an advantage?”

Luosang heard the flurry of questions thrown at her by the reporters and could not help but stop in her tracks and glare at them coldly. “While you’re asking all these questions, haven’t you investigated why our appeals have been rejected over three times? We’ve assembled a team of lawyers and began work since March. It’s been four whole months already. If we really had strings to pull, why would we need to waste so much time? These questions show no respect for our country’s laws, and we can sue all of you for defaming Mr. Nian’s reputation.”
Ignoring the look on the reporter’s faces, she quickly walked in.
The trial was open, and as Luosang walked into the room, she noticed An Lan standing up. She wore a lawyer’s dark robes, while Yi Jingxi wore a black suit in the witness stand. It reminded her of the previous time, when he stood in the same position, hurling obscene accusations at Xu Zhengxuan.
“Mr. Yi Jingxi.” An Lan held a fountain pen in her hand, her voice clear and loud. “According to your testimony that year, you mentioned that you personally saw Zeng Lijuan emerge from Xu Zhengxuan’s office in untidy clothes.”
“Yes,” Yi Jingxi said as he nodded with a cold expression on his chiseled face.
An Lan nodded as well. Out of the blue, she suddenly asked, “Mr. Yi, after Xu Zhengxuan went to prison, did his company Xu Pictures become yours? It has become Yi Pictures as of today.”
Yi Jingxi frowned. “This question has nothing to do with the case. I am a witness, not a suspect.”
The judge frowned. An Lan quickly said, “Your Honor, this question is relevant to the case, you will find out why soon enough.”
