Back at home, Mo Liuxi opened the fridge and saw the chicken wings. His eyes lingered on them for a few seconds, then he took a bottle of soda and closed the fridge door.

Having after-dinner snacks alone was a little boring. He couldn’t even finish the chicken wings.

He made spicy chicken wings tonight. After thinking for a moment, he took a picture of the wings, then sent it to Yan Su.

It was morning in New York time. As Yan Su got up from bed, she saw the picture; instantly she felt hungry.

A short while later, she received a message from Mo Liuxi —’I can’t eat them alone, so I dumped them.’

He sent her another picture of the chicken wings in the trash can.

‘Such a waste,’ Yan Su responded regretfully.

After a shower, Mo Liuxi lay on his bed, his lips curved in a smile. It was a waste indeed.

You’re not here. What else could I do? he thought.

He replied to Yan Su —’Do you see that trash can? You’re that trash can.’

Yan Su was so angry she wanted to vomit blood. She seriously didn’t understand why Mo Liuxi sent her that message. She assumed that he wanted to make her angry.

Mo Liuxi waited for four minutes, but never received another message from her. He decided to send her a new message —’Bring me a bagel.’

The message wasn’t delivered because Yan Su had deleted him from her WeChat friends.

He paused briefly, then angrily threw his phone.

How dare she delete me? That is so awful.

On Tuesday, Mo Liuxi was lying on the couch, reading a film script. Suddenly, he heard people talking outside.

He instantly put on his slippers and walked out and said, “Yan Su, you deleted me.”

He opened the door to see Yan Su and Jiaojiao. Yan Su was holding a key. She was stunned when she saw him, while Jiaojiao had her eyes dazzled by Mo Liuxi’s pretty face.

Yan Su’s neighbor was so handsome.

“Su, this is…”

“My neighbor, and schoolmate,” Yan Su flipped her hair and explained awkwardly.

“Oh,” Jiaojiao responded to her, then hurriedly said to Mo Liuxi, “Hi, are you working with a company already? Do you want to be a star? I can recommend you to my company…”

“I’m not interested.” Mo Liuxi interrupted Jiaojiao, then walked to Yan Su, looking down at her coldly and asked, “Why did you delete me?”

Seeing the dangerous look on his face, Jiaojiao hurriedly stood before Yan Su and said, “Oi, clearly she deleted you because she might not like you. A forced relationship can never bring happiness. Besides, Yan Su’s career is going uphill. It’s not the right time for her to start a relationship.”

“Why are you so mad?” Jiaojiao blinked and continued saying, “She deleted you, but that’s not a big deal.”

Mo Liuxi paused for a moment, as he didn’t know how to respond. A short while later, he said with a cold voice, “That was impolite. Of course, I am mad.”

Yan Su raised her head. Her face was snow-white, and her hair was hanging loosely over her shoulders. “You said that I’m a trash can,” she said, her eyes containing anger.

“That’s the reason?” Mo Liuxi frowned.

Yan Su turned her face away. She was really angry at that moment, but it soon faded. After all, she knew about his weird personality.

“Add me,” Mo Liuxi gave an order.

Yan Su turned her face further away. She didn’t want to add him.

Why would I add him? To hear him call me a trash can again? She thought.

“Are you gonna add me or not?” Mo Liuxi slightly narrowed his eyes. His eyes gave a dangerous light.

Yan Su glared at him. The silent eye contact lasted for a short while, but after, Yan Su quietly took out her phone and added Mo Liuxi back.

Jiaojiao was shocked. She submitted too easily. She decided to see Yan Su in a whole new way from that day on.
