Seeing Xuanzang like this, Wu Yu was paralyzed with horror.
Guanyin Pusa watched them speak, silent. She did not speak to Wu Yu, but the look in her eyes made him very uncomfortable.
Xuanzang would fight Guanyin Pusa this time, and their fight was not one that Wu Yu could intercede in.
Guanyin Pusa might well die today. And her death would be another sin that Wu Yu would be forced to bear.
"I’ve already sabotaged Samantabhadra the Universal Worthy and Manjusri the Gentle Glory. Could Guanyin Pusa also........"
Wu Yu felt his heart squeeze with bitterness. He hated how powerless he was.
Inside, he railed in horror at Xuanzang’s deception. He had trusted him, and to have his trust betrayed was unbearable indeed.
While he was still wrestling with his guilt, the battle had already broken out.
Xuanzang immediately attacked Guanyin Pusa, his golden immortal buddha energy sweeping out at her.
"Ah!"
Guanyin Pusa cried out in pain. "Xuanzang! To think that I led you to the buddhist paths, to take Lord Gautama Buddha as your master. You are a traitorous disciple....."
Xuanzang was unfazed by her accusations. The golden bodhic power gushed forth like a tidal wave, smashing Guanyin Pusa down.
Her own white immortal buddha energy glowed, a pure and clear immortal buddha energy, clashing against the gold.
The blinding blaze of immortal buddha energy forced Wu Yu’s eyes shut.
Nanhai World rang with epic sounds of battle, and Wu Yu simply cowered in shock, unable to feel what was happening.
Guanyin Pusa was the strongest of the Four Great Bodhisattvas, and her battle with Xuanzang shook the entire Nanhai World.
Wu Yu could do nothing but protect himself.
Just the aftershocks of their attacks clashing forced him to use his Mystiques to defend against them. The Ruyi Jingu Bang called forth the Vajra Shield which allowed him to protect himself.
He could only make out disparate words in the maelstrom of white and gold.
"Xuanzang, turn back before it’s too late....."
But the warnings were soon drowned out by the tsunami of immortal buddha energy.
Both of them were very strong, but clearly Xuanzang had the upper hand. Still, it seemed like he would take a long time to defeat Guanyin Pusa.
Guanyin Pusa focused on defending herself, a completely passive and reactive approach which showed no sign of attempting to kill Xuanzang.
In contrast, Xuanzang’s every move was calculated to kill. The golden immortal buddha energy lanced out in deadly blasts!
Wu Yu’s heart cried out in sick desperation.
Although Guanyin Pusa would probably not lose immediately, but Xuanzang’s poisonously cruel moves devastated him.
More, it was Xuanzang’s deception which was at the core of Wu Yu’s discomfort.
If only Wu Yu had the strength to be helpful, he would definitely stand by Guanyin Pusa’s side to stop Xuanzang.
A pity that Wu Yu was too weak before them. It was all he could do to protect himself.
He was completely unable to participate in this struggle!
But suddenly from outside Nanhai World, Wu Yu sensed many eternal immortal emperors and eternal ghostly emperors approaching.
Even Xuanzang balked when he sensed the overwhelming numbers from the aura.
Many immortal emperors and ghostly immortal emperors started to appear at Nanhai World!
They were led personally by the Jade Emperor, and along with him were the Ten Kings of Hell and all of their armies!
Xuanzang shouted: "Guanyin! How far you have fallen, to ally with these puppets!"
He stopped his attack, regathering all of his immortal buddha energy to defend himself.
The epic fight had paused, and Wu Yu was finally able to recover his senses.
But he was incredibly anxious to see the Jade Emperor and the other immortal emperors all swarming them.
Although he was extremely angry at Xuanzang’s deception, but at least Xuanzang had been a lot better to him so far.
If Wu Yu fell into the Jade Emperor’s hands, there was only death awaiting him. This time, he would definitely be sent to Eternal Wrath in Heaven’s Prison for at least a million years.
Wu Yu did not wish to come to that end.
The Jade Emperor had led his army of immortal emperors and ghostly immortal emperors here. At his command, they surrounded and attacked Xuanzang!
Xuanzang was the outsider here.
They had all lost their memories, and did not know who he was. They ignored Guanyin Pusa completely, focusing only on Xuanzang.
"Wu Yu, let’s go."
Xuanzang sighed. He gave up on killing Guanyin Pusa today, and prepared to leave.
"Wu Yu, stay."
Guanyin Pusa suddenly spoke, pleading with Wu Yu. "Xuanzang means you no good!"
Wu Yu felt the sincerity in her words.
But he had no choice. He had to follow Xuanzang, or end up powerless at the mercy of the Jade Emperor.
He had no choice but to go.
"Guanyin Pusa, I am sorry....."
He silently mouthed, and then followed after Xuanzang.
In the face of all the Heavenly Domain’s forces, Xuanzang waved his hand, and left Nanhai World with Wu Yu in a beam of golden light!
Wu Yu felt like his head and heart were all ready to burst.
One thing was clear - Xuanzang was not as trustworthy as he had thought.
Even if everything else Xuanzang had said was real, he did not have the same values towards life as Wu Yu did.
Therefore, Wu Yu did not want to stay with Xuanzang any longer. It was irreconcilable.
However, he had no other choice. If he was to escape the Jade Emperor’s clutches, he had to follow Xuanzang......
