Realizing that she is a hair-breadth away from turning up to work late, she runs after him while hugging her coat.

She runs through the second floor corridor and by the time she reaches the stairs, he is already at the door.   After he picks up his coat, he does not wait for her, unlike the usual, and simply walks past the door.

Zhuang Nai Nai hurrily climbs down the stairs while calling out to him, "Wait for me, Si Zheng Ting!"

Si Zheng Ting pauses without turning around.

The car drives away, leaving her standing in the dust.

The housekeeper immediately arranges a car and a driver for her.

The Maybach just now was personally driven by Si Zheng Ting.  His bodyguards are all still here.

The housekeeper eyes the bodyguards before calling one of them over, "Da Zhuang, go and prepare the car for madam."
