She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself .   She didn’t do anything wrong; what is there to be afraid of?  “I bought that house using money that fell from the sky!  What are you going to do about it?  If you really suspect me, feel free to lodge a police report!  The company does not have any right to privately interrogate a worker!”

She narrows her eyes as she glares at Si Zheng Ting fiercely .   Then, she walks off .

Both Mi Nuo and Li Li are shocked by her impudence .   “Zhuang Nai Nai!” calls Li Li in disbelief .

Zhuang Nai Nai turns around, “What?  Are you going to continue illegally interrogating a staff?”

Li Li chokes a little .

Zhuang Nai Nai’s eyes are sharp as she says, “One more thing, I hope the company will clear my name .   Otherwise, I will sue the company for tarnishing my reputation!”

Li Li: ………………!!

After watching her haughty departure, Mi Nuo and Li Li turn to look at Si Zheng Ting and Ding Mengya .

Mi Nuo’s face is full of shock, as though she cannot fathom that there can actually be an employee so rude .   She turns to Si Zheng Ting, “What should I do about this matter, Mr . Si?”

Si Zheng Ting narrows his eyes as he looks at the doorway .   The corner of his lips rises as he watches Zhuang Nai Nai’s huffily walking away .   An infuriated Zhuang Nai Nai is just too cute .   He feels like they are back in high school, where she gets angry at him over the smallest thing .

Mi Nuo cuts through his reminiscence with those words .

His face immediately turns cold again .   “In the future, if you want to suspect a staff, please bring forth the evidence .    The company does not appreciate a reckless accusation .   Both of you may leave first,” warns Si Zheng Ting .

Mi Nuo and Li Li are shocked upon getting admonished, especially Mi Nuo whose face has turned red .   She bites her lips, “Yes . ”

After the two of them left, Si Zheng Ting turns to Ding Mengya, “Are you still suspecting her?”

Ding Mengya nods, “Only she has the motive and the means to do it .   You don’t suspect her?”

Si Zheng Ting raises his eyebrows, “No . ”

Ding Mengya looks at him in surprise, “If you don’t suspect her, why did you let them call her up?”

Si Zheng Ting purses her lips as he sits on the couch, his face solemn .   After a long silence, he says, “Mom, it does not matter if you like her or not .   She is my wife now; I don’t want you to suspect her . ”
