Chapter 60

She picks out the most decent dress from the lot .   It shows a lot of legs, but it covers the most out of the rest of the dresses .

She rubs her legs together; how awkward and embarrassing .

But then, he didn’t even spare her a glance when the towel slipped, why does this even matter?

With that in mind, Zhuang Nai Nai gathers her courage and walks out of the bathroom .

Si Zheng Ting is sitting on the sofa with his laptop open .   When Zhuang Nai Nai walks out, Si Zheng Ting swallows heavily despite his eyes plastered on the screen .

He is ignoring her!

Zhuang Nai Nai takes a deep breath as she tries to pull down the dress, hoping that it will magically becomes longer .   A man and a woman are inside a room together… . Even if Si Zheng Ting is not interested in her, it is not decent for her to be wearing something like this .

She looks around before plastering her gaze on the cupboard .

Si Zheng Ting should be the kind that wears conservative nightwear .   Maybe she can borrow his… .

She makes her way to the cupboard and opens the door, but all she sees are rows and rows of suits .   There are no pajamas .

Uh, he is a rich person, so maybe his pajamas are stored elsewhere .

She looks at him, “That- where do you put your pajamas?”

“The third drawer on the second cupboard on the left . ”

“The one on the left?  Oh, this one… . ”  Zhuang Nai Nai pulls the drawer out .

After saying what he said, Si Zheng Ting remembers about Zhuang Nai Nai’s inability to differentiate left and right .   He remembers what the housekeeper told him earlier .  He suddenly thinks of something and stands up .

Zhuang Nai Nai freezes .   The drawer does not contain pajamas .   Instead it contains… . .

Her face turns red when she sees the things inside the drawer .

Although she has never done ‘that’, she is not completely clueless when it comes to things like this .   Those rods…

Ahh!!  Si Zheng Ting, you bastard!

She jumps up, not bothering to find the pajamas anymore .   Without even closing the drawer, she takes a cover on the bed and covers her entire body with a comforter .   Only her head is left exposed .

Si Zheng Ting looks at her frightened look and checks the drawer, blue veins popping on his head .   He wants to say something, but in the end, cannot find anything to say .

The room turns quiet as neither of them speaks .

The clock strikes 10 .

It is time to sleep .

Si Zheng Ting turns off his laptop and stands up .

Zhuang Nai Nai watches him with a bitter heart .   Does he dislike her that much?  Are all those things prepared so that he wouldn’t have to deal with her?

If he doesn’t like her, why did he marry her?

Zhuang Nai Nai picks up the comforter and leaves the bed, “That– You can sleep on the bed .   I will sleep on the couch . ”

Zhuang Nai Nai lowers her head, “Y-You don’t like me and is not willing to- you know… . . I will not force you . ”

Si Zheng Ting is speechless now .

5 years have passed and she has gotten better at turning things upside down .

Si Zheng Ting tries to suppress his anger, “Do you know why I married you?”

“Why?”

“For… . an heir . ”
