 What she said indubitably pleased Song Mian . He was euphoric, “I will work hard in making you fall in love with me then . ”

 Yun Xiangxiang pecked Song Mian on his cheek before letting him go . She pulled the chair beside her for Song Mian to sit, then she sat primly beside him .

 Yun Xiangxiang only froze for a fraction of a second . Then she relaxed and let him take her to the soft bed . He took off his coat before lying down beside her . He wrapped his hand around her waist that could be held in one hand, “Girlfriend, take an afternoon nap with your boyfriend . ”

 “My Buddha’s Temptation…” Yun Xiangxiang still wanted to eat . This Buddha’s Temptation held a different meaning for her .

 “Relax . I won’t disappoint you . ”

 “Then sleep,” Yun Xiangxiang ruffled his bristly hair and spoke softly .

 Song Mian closed his eyes while embracing her in his arms . He was sound asleep in two minutes .

 Yun Xiangxiang who didn’t feel sleepy drifted to sleep unknowingly . Who knew the reason why . Maybe it was because the environment was too comfortable .

 The drenching of the air with a tempting fragrance lulled Yun Xiangxiang from her sleep . There was nobody beside her when she woke up . Dusk was already approaching as shown outside the window . She was surprised that she slept for so long . It was unprecedented .

 It was already six o’clock when she checked the time . She called He Wei to inform him that she would eat out and return at about ten .

 He Wei didn’t pry . He only asked her to keep herself safe before he hung up .

 Yun Xiangxiang got out of bed and stepped out of the bedroom . She saw Song Mian walking down with an unopened bag of towel, a toothbrush, and a cup . He placed them in the bathroom, “Wash yourself up . I made some pastries . You can have them first . Dinner won’t be ready until at least an hour has passed . ”

 “Okay,” Yun Xiangxiang answered languidly before going to wash herself up .

 When she reached the dining hall downstairs, what greeted her could be called a work of art . The dish was shaped like a plum blossom . The scarlet in the center faded into lavender, then blossomed into pure white at the tips . It was even more elegant than what Wang Yong could make!

 She promptly whipped her phone out and snapped a photo to post on her wall: Pre dinner snack .

 She attracted tons of food addicts . Song Meng asked her to bring a serving back vehemently .

 Yun Xiangxiang replied: It’s exclusive .

 It wasn’t just appealing to the eye . It was scrumptious as well . A satisfied Yun Xiangxiang asked with her mouth full of food, “What don’t you know?

 “A lot . I only know slightly more stuff than the layman,” Song Mian smiled . When he saw that she was going for her third one, he said, “Leave some space for the main course later . ”

 Yun Xiangxiang retracted her claws when she thought about Buddha’s Temptation . She wasn’t hungry anymore .

 “Meow…”

 “You have a cat?” Yun Xiangxiang turned her head sideways and asked Song Mian when she heard a cat meowing .

 “There are stray cats nearby,” Song Mian’s place wasn’t anywhere especially private or upscale .

 Perhaps it was because he was in a foreign country that made him yearn for a normal life more . That was why he didn’t have a single housekeeper or servant .

 “I’ll take a look outside,” Yun Xiangxiang adored cats . It was a pity that she couldn’t keep one as her plate was always full of work .

 The kitten’s meow came from outside the walls of Song Mian’s bungalow . The little rascal was stuck between the branches of the tree it was climbing . God knew why it got terribly stuck and was unable to free itself .

 It was minuscule and only measured around ten centimeters long . It was probably born not long before . Its snowy white fur was slightly tainted . Its aqua eyes were like a pair of lakes . The rim of its eyes were tinted in carnation .

 “It’s so pretty . I want to keep it,” Yun Xiangxiang turned her head to Song Mian, “Take a ladder for me . I’ll get it off of the tree . ”

 Song Mian took a foldable ladder from the house . Yun Xiangxiang climbed it while he supported the base . She gently freed the kitten and brought it down, “Are there any pet clinics nearby?”

 Strays like these needed to be cleaned and vaccinated .

 “I’ll take you there,” Song Mian housed the kitten in a box before giving Yun Xiangxiang a lift to the nearest pet clinic .

 The little one completely transformed after it was thoroughly cleaned and checked up .

 “This is a nearly solid color ragdoll [1],” The nurse handed the kitten to Yun Xiangxiang, “It’s gorgeous . ”

 Yun Xiangxiang also noticed it . Its body was pearly white, except for its ears which was tinted with silver .

 The nurse guessed that it should be around two months old . She explained how to take care of it to Yun Xiangxiang . She bought various items at the pet shop before going home with the kitten .
