The 9th Story: First Time in the Adventurer Guild
After the inspection at the gate ended without any problems thanks to the village mayor’s letter and Mare-san’s help, we entered the city.
As we move further into the city I am impressed.
Naturally the people here have proper clothes.
On the way the caravan stopped in many villages with the purpose of buying and selling goods, but to be honest, the difference between Thales village and the other villages was not that great.

And every village has a routine of waiting for the first of each month for the merchant caravan; it is the only thing they look forward to.

Actually, most of the villagers do not leave the village their entire lives and finish their lives inside the village.
Perhaps the Father with his point of view as an ex-adventurer had an open mind and could easily accept me, an outsider.

Mare-san walked in front of me and called Gal and the others to go to the adventurer guild in the same commercial district.
After the status confirmation at the castle’s gate it is necessary to follow a certain procedure to register as an adventurer.
Normally, a person can join as an apprentice adventurer and build up trust with the guild, and after that that person can formally join the adventurer guild.
In other words, they won’t easily accept strangers.
Well, normally it is a wait and see probation period.
However, and adventurer apprentice loses too much.
They receive almost no service from the guild, and the reward fee from the quests is cut by 40%.
Well, when you think about an adventurer the image that comes to mind is of a group of scoundrels, so it is hard to build a trust relationship.
But it seems that with a recommendation from a trustable person like Mare-san they will formally accept me easily.

Mare-san said so and opened the adventurer guild’s door, so the seven of us entered the guild.
