However, before they could react, a sharp screeching sound came from the runway!
After that, the sports car made a complete stop, yet the revving sound of the engine grew louder, as though gathering power.
The next instant, like a hungry tiger hunting for its prey, it zoomed at full speed out of the runway!
At that moment, the runway was surrounded by hordes of people. They were fighting to watch it up close and would even stick their body up to the race tracks if they were allowed. Who would have thought things would take such a drastic turn. They were all flabbergasted!
Vroom, vroom, vroom!
The sports car’s engine roared, as though it was the whistle of a grim reaper.
“F*ck! What’s going on? Is that car coming toward us?!”
“Are they trying to have us experience the sensation of autonomous driving by having it speed past us?”
“Sensation your buttocks! Run, quick!”
“Idiot! Instead of speeding past you, it’s going to speed through you! Snap out of your daze and run!”
In an instant, the entire place turned into a chaotic mess. People were pushing each other, causing many people to fall to the ground. The scene looked pitiful.
Most importantly, the car was not just speeding in a straight line. Sometimes it would make a turn, or go in reverse without any set pattern. Nobody knew where it would go next. It was horrible, and it was as though they were playing a game with the grim reaper.
“Why are you still standing there? Go salvage the situation!” Chairman Xu’s voice was hoarse from all the shouting. He roared urgently, causing his face to turn scarlet.
Fortunately, they were prepared for such circumstances. Four big cars moved out immediately and rushed in from four different directions to block the sports car in, locking it in the middle.
The incident finally came to an end. However, the crowd’s fears were not placated fully. Everyone’s shirts were already drenched. They felt as though they took a trip to the gates of hell and back. It was too exhilarating.
“F*ck, f*ck, f*ck! I wet my pants from fear! What dumb f*ckery is this car!”
“Intelligent system? Auto mapping? Obstacle navigation? Autonomous driving? Bullsh*t! Hoax! It almost took my life!”
“Sob sob sob. Mommy, I’m scared!”
“Wanrong Automobile is trying to get us killed. We won’t let this go. We must fight for our rights! Sue them!”
“Evil corporation! How dare they show us some half-baked product. How shameful!”
“That’s it. You look at those people lying on the ground. That should be around 70 to 100 of them. This time Wanrong Automobile Group is doomed!”

Everyone was grumbling resentfully. As for the reporters, their eyes glowed brightly. Their cameras never stopped and were just clicking incessantly. They recorded the scene from all possible angles, especially those people still lying on the floor on the runway. Some of those with serious injuries were given special closeup shots.

Their foreheads were covered with cold sweat. Their faces ashen as they were paralyzed on their seats.
Ouyang Qing felt as though her body was sapped of all strength. It was as though she lost her soul. She stared at those on the ground with her soulless eyes as she bit on her lips. Her weak body trembled uncontrollably.
Her mind was blank. She lost the ability to think. The consequences of such an incident were beyond her imagination!
“That’s it. We’re done for!”
Chairman Xu seemed to have aged 10 years as he muttered to himself.
The incident was too big. Furthermore, there were too many viewers. It was impossible to cover up. The incident delivered a critical blow to Wanrong Automobile Group!
“Huff!”
After a moment, Ouyang Qing was the first to recover from her daze. She took a deep breath, then immediately started making arrangements.
“Quick, call the ambulance. Everyone go check on those injured and work together to save them. Furthermore, contact operations and have them send out a notice immediately. We need to apologize to the public and compensate them. No matter whose fault it is, Wanrong Automobile Group will take responsibility for it! Comfort the family members of the injured. Ouyang Qing continued working on the arrangements. She was indeed a strong woman. She managed to push down her worries and fears, taking the best option in the least amount of time.

Meanwhile, Xu Nan and Wu Wanqing had barely dropped Ye Lingchen home. When they saw Ye Lingchen’s huge villa, they were both surprised. They did not expect Ye Lingchen, a student, to stay in such a luxurious villa. That was just too wasteful.

Little Green and Little Grey immediately ran forward as they saw Ye Lingchen coming home. They have already grown to a large size, comparable to a normal fully grown wolf. Furthermore, they were strong, healthy, and extremely agile, scaring Xu Nan and Xu Wanqing as they rushed out.
“Ahh!”
Xu Wanqing’s calm was shattered in that instant as she lost her composure.
Xu Nan was not faring any better. However, as a trained personnel, she lowered her body and was prepared to fight.
“Don’t be afraid. They’re Little Green and Little Grey. They’re very obedient.” Ye Lingchen smiled, then commanded, “Little Green, give those two sisters a handshake!”
Little Green immediately sat down in front of Xu Nan and Xu Wanqing, then raised its paw. Its eyes filled with innocence.
Xu Nan was a brave person. After a moment of hesitation, she stretched her hand to grab Little Green’s paw. Xu Wanqing instead took a few deep breaths before finally daring to touch Little Green.
Ye Lingchen continued, “Little Grey, salute!”
Little Grey similarly stayed on the ground, then raised its paw and placed it over its head.
Xu Wanqing and Xu Nan were completely shocked this time. It was the first time they met someone that managed to train a dog to that extent. Furthermore, Little Grey and Little Green felt different. They were ferocious, yet intelligent, as though filled with wisdom.
Xu Nan exclaimed, “Wow, this dog follows your command so obediently. It feels even smarter than those police dogs in the troop! Master, you’re too amazing!”
‘Of course. Little Green and Little Grey are wolves. They’re much better than dogs.’
As he thought to himself, he smiled and replied, “Your master is omnipotent. You should learn more.”
“Master, you’re actually from a rich family?” Xu Nan exclaimed as she looked at the well-decorated interior after entering. “You’re enjoying life a little too much by yourself don’t you think?”
“Who said I was alone?” Ye Lingchen rolled his eyes. “Why do I need to be from a rich family? I’ve earned all these by myself okay?”
