Extra 1: My Cute Audrey Part 1

I am Calfan. A magic swordsman who is a fairly well-known adventurer.
Actually, I am this country’s 6th prince; though the life of the royal family didn’t suit me so when I was not even around 14 years of age, I had ran away from the castle. Of course, this is a secret.

Fortunately, I had enough skills at that time to make a living as an adventurer. Although there were some hardships, I did not have any financial troubles and enjoyed the adventurer life every day. I also get in touch with my family. These days, I’m mainly being pressed about marriage so I’m a little fed up with it.

An adventurer means being in an unstable occupation. If you play an active role magnificently, rumours will spread and you will become fairly popular with women. However, I do not have a fixed lover. That is because I am engrossed in improving my skills; and I have already become 24 years old and yet, until now, I have not come across the woman to love.

At such a time, I took on a small job as an escort. Because a business rival was making disturbing movements, it was my job to ensure the safety of a rich miss (ojou-sama).
Hunting dragons or exterminating demons were spectacular but those weren’t the only jobs of an adventurer. I called several trustworthy members. Gathering information on the side of escorting, I planned to pull out by the roots the corrupt company who appear to have had a hand in crimes.

Audrey Areinas was the subject to be escorted and was a cheerful girl with bright light brown hair and green eyes. Age was 16 years; and with round eyes reminiscent of small animals.

「Nice to meet you, Calfan. Please call me Audrey.」

Here, Audrey thought about the reality of what would happen when sneaking around and shivered in fright. I felt sorry and wrapped her in a blanket and hugged her. When she looked up at me, there was relief in her eyes. Her eyes drew me in and I brought my face closer and stole her lips lightly.
Lovely eyes grew wide in surprise and I smiled uncharacteristically.
This is bad.
I do not want to hand this girl over to anyone.
