I was dumbfounded when I continuously pulled out two fake one hundreds. Luckily, she accepted the third bill.
When I was about to leave, the lady boss threw out a sentence, “Kid, we are a small business and earning money is already hard enough as it is.”
I felt an intense sense of embarrassment at the time. I was definitely thought of as a repeat offender by her.
After I left, I pondered over the matter, “Isn’t this the money Lao Liu gave me? I didn’t use it the past two days, but today, as soon as I used it, a problem came up.”
