They were a type of legendary pill, and they had not appeared in the Spiritual Realm for many years. It was worth noting that even ordinary alchemists did not know of such wonderful pills.

Gu Jiacheng chuckled and retrieved a small jade bottle from his interspatial bag. “Master Ou, this is a Phoenix Fire Bamboo’s seed. Where do you think will be the most convenient place to plant it?”
Ou Yangming was dumbfounded. “Elder Gu, you should be the one deciding.”
Gu Jiacheng explained with a bitter smile, “I’m experienced with normal plants, but I think it’s best that you decide this time because this is related to the Phoenixes.”
Phoenix Fire Bamboos were almost extinct in the Spiritual Realm. Gu Jiacheng must have paid a huge price to obtain the seed, thus he did not want to handle it carelessly.
All of a sudden, Ou Yangming was moved because he thought of the best place.
“Elder Gu, if you trust me, I know a good place.” He laughed before he continued, “But it’s a secretive place so once the seed is planted, you won’t be able to see it anymore until the bamboo is grown.”
“Haha, Master Ou, you’re kidding me.” Gu Jiacheng shook his head and said, “If we can’t even trust you, who else can we trust?”
Ou Yangming was the Phoenixes’ messenger, after all. This status alone was equivalent to a solemn promise.
The young fellow nodded and accepted the jade bottle, then he expressed in a deep voice, “Elder Gu, without further delay, I’ll set out now. I’ll surely return after a month.”
Gu Jiacheng raised his eyebrows. He immediately understood that the secret place was not in the Beast King Sect.
He was slightly worried, but he cast his worries aside in a flash. “Okay, Master Ou, I’ll be waiting for you here. As soon as your return, we’ll open the furnace and refine the pill.”
It was clear that he yearned for the Eternal Pill more than anyone else.
Ou Yangming responded to him, then he turned and left the library. He flashed and returned to his courtyard in the blink of an eye.
Big Yellow was still lying lazily in the courtyard. Even when Ou Yangming was back, it only stuck out its tongue and waved its paw at him.
The young fellow did not know to cry or to laugh. “Big Yellow, I’m heading out. Do you want to come with me?”
“Where to?” Big Yellow blinked as it asked.
“The secret realm.” Ou Yangming mouthed the words without making any sound.
Nevertheless, Big Yellow understood him right away. It tilted its head and asked after some thought, “How long do you plan to stay there?”
“About a month.”
“I won’t go with you this time then.” Big Yellow stuck out its tongue helplessly.
Ou Yangming was surprised. “Why?”
“I want to practice.” A different look could be seen in Big Yellow’s eyes as it became highly spirited. “Elder Macaque passed me a set of secret techniques. It promised me that as long as I successfully practiced the first half of the set, it’ll pass me the other half of it without any condition. Hehe, so I can’t go out during this period.”
“Good fella, I didn’t think you’d work hard too.” Ou Yangming could not help but laugh.
“I’ve always been hardworking,” Big Yellow uttered proudly as it lifted its head. Despite that, it quickly lowered its head and smiled embarrassedly as the young fellow grinned at it. “Elder Macaque told me that I advanced too fast and have an unstable foundation, so I’ll need to temper myself strictly, I’ll risk being backlashed if I try to advance into a Venerable One in the future.”
Ou Yangming instantly looked stern. Indeed, Big Yellow had advanced faster than normal spirit beasts. It was not because it was exceptionally gifted, but it was due to the Devouring attribute.
As said by Elder Macaque, the big yellow dog’s foundation was unstable because it advanced too fast.

After going far from the Beast King Sect, Ou Yangming first confirmed that he was not being followed, then he searched for a remote ravine. The enormous tree in the secret realm swayed without warning, causing seemingly substantial lights to turn into strings that moved toward the top.
