That burst of energy came suddenly and neither of them were prepared. Also, the moment that energy appeared, they could sense that it was much more powerful than it was before.
Supreme Fifth Spirit Senior wanted to go up and protect Sima You Yue, but that energy came too quickly. It seemed to penetrate the both of them immediately.
Supreme Fifth Spirit Senior managed to use his spirit energy to block it, but it forced him back two steps. Sima You Yue activated her sprit energy as well, but she was not able to be quicker than the spirit energy.
It was over!
She could sense the boundless energy coming from that. Now that she was completely unable to defend herself against it, was she going to be killed by it?
From the time that the energy burst out to the time that it had attacked her, it all happened in the frame of the time it would take lightning to strike. By the time Sima You Yue managed to react, that burst of energy already went through her.

Supreme Fifth Spirit Senior attacked the energy at the door twice, but all of his spirit energy was absorbed. It did not cause the slightest ripple.
“Honorable One, why don’t you just wait outside? I’ll go see what is inside that coffin.” Sima You Yue said.
Supreme Fifth Spirit Senior knew as well that there seemed to be no other way. He could only nod and mutter, “Be careful. If there is any danger, you have to retreat outside immediately.”
“Alright.” Sima You Yue replied as she headed to the coffin. She was not particularly careful in her approach.
Based on what happened earlier, she felt like this place was rather safe even though she didn’t know the reason why.

She walked in front of the coffin. This coffin did not have those simple decorations. In fact, it was extremely plain. It was very different from the appearance of the other cemeteries. She walked around the coffin and examined it. It looked like it was one solid piece, simple yet elegant. She couldnt tell what was special about it.
There had to be some kind of mechanism in this coffin.
She thought about the way she was treated inside this cemetery and felt like it definitely was related to her in some way. Aura? Or was it spirit energy?
Regardless of which type it was, she had to give it a go.
She placed her hand on the coffin and inserted her spirit energy. She initially thought that it would be futile, but she could actually sense the energy on the coffin responding to her!
She could sense when she was almost done inserting the energy, and retrieved her hand. At this time, a white ray of light emanated from the lid of the coffin. The light swirled around the lid and slowly formed a picture.
Sima You Yue stared at it for a long time, feeling like that design was rather familiar. However, it was unknown whether it was because the direction was off or because of something else, but for a moment, she could not figure out where she had seen that before.

She walked to the bottom of the coffin and studied that design intensely. She could not help but slap her forehead.
