Chapter 2.1

Monier snapped and cursed, “Which punk… uh, brother… what are you doing here?” An old man emerged from the crowd smiling . He wasn’t wearing a purple robe, but a set of coarse grey clothes, dressed like a servant .

The old man laughed, “You’re here, so why can’t I be?”

Monier trailed off and said, “Wearing another servant’s clothing, this old man is clearly bullying people . ” She took off with Guo Shi’er and said, “This is Master Wu Zu De, an old delinquent elder who likes to wear a rotten suit all the time and hang among the low-level disciples . Whoever messes with him ends up in serious trouble . ”

Guo Shi’er didn’t dare to say anything and went forward to salute, “Good day, Master Wu . ”

Master Wu Zu De smiled and said, “You’re the kid who became an Advanced Grandmaster Spellcaster? Huh? Did you go into the Fu Wu Xumi Dao? How many circles have you completed?” 

There was an uproar all around . It was too bizarre for a ten-year-old spellcaster to be a Senior Master .

Guo Shi’er replied, “I’m ashamed that I only got to the beginning of the second circle . ”

With a hint of shock on his face, Wu Zu De said, “The second circle? That would be a Junior Runemaster… Good lord, how do you let those Runemaster potentials live…”

Monier smiled proudly and said, “My Shi’er is a genius kid . ”

Wu Zu De blinked his old eyes and smiled . “Hehe, your kid? I heard that the boy is a disciple of Ku Mu’s, not yours . ”

Monier was annoyed and huffed, “I’m his Master’s Wife!”

Wu Zu De continued, “Yes, yes, you’re his master’s wife, hehe . ” He teased her in a sarcastic tone and Monier got very angry, she couldn’t help it . This old man was known to be difficult to deal with in the Chenxiao Sect . He wasn’t bad, he just liked to tease people and make them laugh or cry . He was joyful as hell .

Monier took Guo Shi’er’s hand and said, “Shi’er, pay less attention to him from now on . He will just die from old age . ”

Guo Shi’er obediently said, “Well, I will ignore the dead old man…”

Wu Zu De said, “Huh? Little one, how dare you call me a dead old man?”

Guo Shi’er looked innocently and said, “Well, Master’s Wife said you were a dead old man… Isn’t this Uncle Wu’s nickname?”

Wu Zu De was left speechless and Guo Shi’er acting stupid made him angry . Monier laughed and said incessantly, “Yes, yes, Shi’er, let’s go get the mission and ignore the dead old man . ”

Guo Shi’er found that his Master’s Wife was a bit childlike and spoken boldly, saying whatever she wanted with joy and anger written on her face .

Wu Zu De sighed . He couldn’t say anything more . The other party was a woman and a child, and if he went overboard and messed with Monier, then old man Ku Mu wouldn’t take it lying down . He turned toward the crowd .

Monier asked, “What are the tasks that are well rewarded, least dangerous and easy to complete? Get me eight or ten to pick from . ”

The inner disciple in charge of the missions was sweating and said to himself, “If there were such missions, I would have taken them myself . Why would I want to post them?” But he didn’t dare answer like that and smiled eagerly . “There are, there are…” Even if he didn’t have one, he had to find a way to find one .

Guo SHi’er almost laughed out loud . Of course he knew what was going on in the inner disciple’s mind . The disciple had to come up with good missions to let Master’s Wife pick from .

Soon, Guo Shi’er picked a task, one that made Monier jump to her feet .  

“What? You are going to sit in the shops?”

Guo Shi’er looked innocent and said, “Yeah, it’s easy and not tiring… What a great task . ”

Monier said, “There are often fights there… It’s too dangerous for you to go!”

Guo Shi’er said, “It’s not like I am the only one sitting in town, there are a lot of others going . ”

Monier kept shaking her head, she was like an old hen nursing her chick . She strongly disagreed with Guo Shi’er and said, “Shi’er, the market and the Magical City are places where fights happen all the time and you are going to sit there… You’re still a kid, you can’t hold anyone down, you’re going to suffer!”

Guo Shi’er smiled and said, “I have Uncle Eagle Demon with me . He’ll fight for me . ”

Monier continued, “Little Eagle’s strength isn’t good enough, he is only an Advanced Ancient, there are plenty of powerful people there he can’t beat . Guo Shi’er took a closer look and found that he was indeed qualified enough . The minimum requirement for this quest was to be a Senior Grand Runemaster, but the assignment wasn’t posted there . He reminded her, “Master, this mission wasn’t posted here . ”

Monier smiled and said, “It’s fine, you can take it here too . It’s not considered an advanced mission, it’s only between intermediate and advanced . Register for this assignment . ”

Guo Shi’er asked, “The name of this merchant shop is called Dasun Merchant Shop? Is it in the inner gate?”

The inner disciple replied, “Yes, this is a shop under the largest merchant house of the Chenxiao Sect and it is the closest to the sect . Hehe, this quest pays well and doesn’t give a low number of clan points, if you accumulate enough points, you can exchange them to go to the Void!”
