Afterword
This time, I’ve tried writing more in a “war record” kind of style. This was the first time the story took this kind of twist, yet somehow it feels like I’ve written 14 volumes of this arc despite it only being one volume so far. It might be because I’m writing another series that actually is from the ‘war record’ genre called Altina the Sword Princess. It’s currently being published by Famitsu Bunko, so do give it a try if you’re interested.
Anyway, an afterword.
How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord’s anime was incredibly well done, and I’ve been truly happy recently. Some developments there ended up a bit different from the novels, but I hope longtime readers can enjoy it just the same.
But let’s talk about the novel for now. The Empire of Gelmed appears! I was actually planning to include them in a later volume, but it felt like “now’s the time!” I figured building up too much foreshadowing would just make things boring. I hope you enjoyed it.
Next volume, I believe we’ll be seeing the war with the Empire settle in one form or another, and see more about the now-blond Super Alicia and the escaped Palace Knights. I’m not sure how far the plot will go, but I intend to deliver it to you as soon as I can. Do keep supporting the series.
This volume’s limited edition came included with a drama CD. I penned the script for it. I believe it came out quite well, so do give it a listen.
