Time passed; the sun fell, and night took hold .

“Yuuki, are you okay? How is your cold?” Yuki asked as she knocked and entered my room .

“It’s better .  Sorry for the trouble I’ve caused you . ”

“Don’t worry about it . I’m glad to be of any help . And don’t be so reserved when you speak with me . We’re together now . ”

“But…”

You’re also my boss, and a few years older than me . How can I not be respectful and careful with my words?

She smiled . “‘But’ nothing . I’m your lover now . No formality needed . ”

“Well, If you insist…”

“I insist! Now, are you hungry? Care to eat?”

“Sure, why not?”

After we let my room, Yuki and I descended the stairs and went into the living room . We exchanged smiles along the way . It was simple, and it felt… nice . As we went into the living room, we found Hinata and Utano lounging on the couch .

“And, why are you two here?” I asked .

“You don’t need to ask the obvious . We’re now in a relationship, so of course I’ve come to eat something . ”

“How does that have anything to do with being in a relationship?!”

“Uh, right . Let me rephrase… I came to eat Yuki’s cooking . ” She smiled triumphantly .

“Stop looking so smug after being so shameless!”

She laughed .

What is this nurse thinking?! Why is visiting me only to eat the food in my house, and it’s only been like that since she became mine .

“Of course I’ll express my gratitude for bearing with me all this time . ” And she opened up hear arms, and laid back in the couch . “You can attack me if you want . ”

“A nurse shouldn’t be saying things like that!” Yuki turned red .

Hinata laughed again, wiping a tear from her eye until she saw Yuki’s expression . She turned downcast .

What an amazing staredown… I pretended not see the frightened look on Hinata’s face .

“Utano, are you here for the meal too?”

“…No . I’m here because I want to be with you, Yuuki . ”

“… Ah . . I see”

Did I just blush? As someone who’s been alone for so long, I have no resistance against these sort of scenarios

“Well then, shall we eat?” Yuki asked as she led the way .

Everyone headed towards the dining area, sat down, as Yuki shared the food .

“There’s something that’s been bothering me; are you two going start living in Yuuki’s house?” Yuki asked .

Eh? They’re planning to live here? I want to spend my time alone though…peacefully

“Uh… I really want to, but as the school nurse, that would be inappropriate . In Yuki’s harem or not . Well, it’s best no one knows as we’re from the same school”

“…Same for me here . But I will do my best to visit him every breakfast and dinner . ”

“I see… . We should all eat together . As for me, I will be staying with him, so let’s get along . ”

What did she just say?

“I hope we can get along together in this house, Yuuki . ” She said as she looked at me, and then bowed her head .

Wait, what? Just getting along is not the problem!

“Don’t you think a man and a woman living under the same roof is…”

“It’s okay . I believe nothing untowards would happen if it’s you, Yuuki . ”

[ED: I guess they’ll be ‘innocent’ until marriage? Since they are now ‘lovers’ and all, that should be the issue then, no?]

Wait, I’m man as well, you know . I might end up unable to control myself, you know? And Yuki, why is your trust in me so high to the point where it’s jarring?

“Yuuki…is it not good if we live togeth-?”

Don’t look at me with those eyes!

“Um…It’s okay . ”

“Thank you . ”

Why am I accepting her request?! Kiriyama Yuuki! This is a major event in your life!! A woman that’s not your mother nor your sister is going to live in this house! Is it really fine to give her an OK?!

The danger sensor inside of me rang loudly, but now that I already answered her, it was too late .

“Then what are you going to do about the bookshop?”

“That’s the problem . I have some relatively expensive books there and I’m worried to leave it alone at night . ”

That’s true . It would cause a heavy loss if some sort of thief was to make it there . What to do… ?

[ED: People actually rob bookstores for their books?]

“In that case, I can live there . ” I said . “I’m currently living alone in an apartment so moving wouldn’t be hard . And the best of it is that it is close to your place . There wouldn’t be anymore need to cook for myself; all that I have to do is laundry and keeping the house clean . ”

“I will join you . After all, it looks like you’re” pretty bad at housework . ”

“That’s rude . I personally think that I’m the type who can do some housework well . ”

“I will be worried if you live there alone, so I will move with you . ”

“Well then, please do . ”

And the matter was kinda settled just like that . Is it all going to be okay? I feel uneasy about this . I guess I’ll just go with the flow?

“So when will you be moving?” She asked .

“I’m free this weekend . ”

“Me too . ”

“Then this weekend it is . ”

With one sentence from Yuuki, even the time was settled . Why do they look so happy?

“… That’s because I can be close to my loved person . ” She said .

“Don’t read my mind please!!”

And like that, we finished eating breakfast . I somewhat enjoyed this flourishing and nostalgic meal .
