Chapter 3

I returned to a house that had no lights on and began to make dinner。Tonight shall be Western style Hamburger steak and Corn soup。Since I had Japanese style food on my lunch。

「I’m alone from school up to my house。Even my part time job is done by myself。I’m amazingly a Loner」

No one would reply to me even if I said something here。I’ve already lost my Mother and elder sister & I haven’t even seen my father since I was born。I’m just a 2nd year high school student that is living in a house that my mother left to me。I surprisingly don’t have any problems with money。Since I’m a man、I also receive good treatment like support from the country and am exempted from tax up till I graduate from college。

「Woah、the hamburger steak looks good now」

I moved the Hamburger steak from the frying pan to a plate while I placed the Corn soup and rice on a bowl as I took those and arranged it all on the table and sat on my chair。

I ate the Hamburger steak first of all。

「UOHH！Today’s meal has been well made huh。Its been burnt perfectly and the meat is soft too」

If a person couldn’t do any housework such as cooking then they won’t be a true Loner。Since I’m quite good with this then the path of the Loner will be too easy for me。That’s why I get a bit absorbed like this when cooking。

「The natural sweetness of the Corn soup is quite good too。I’ve considerably made something very high tier」

It’s possible for me to praise myself right now。I’ll be adjusting this to my masterpieces then。

「What the- my phone’s ringing。Though me getting any calls is one of the 7 mysteries of our school。Who the hell would be calling me like this」

I took out my smart phone from my trouser pocket and saw that it was Yuki-san when I took a look at the screen。If its Yuki-san then I should answer it。

「Yes。 Is this Yuki-san？」
『Yes』
「What’s the matter？ Did you forget to tell me something？
『No。It’s just that Yuuki-san was a bit tired a while ago so・・・』

She’s really worried about me huh・・・。I’m being filled with shame right now。

「I’m truly sorry about that。I’m sorry too for falling asleep when I was still on the job」
『It’s alright。So have you properly taken your meal already？』
「Yes I did。Today was Hamburger steak and corn soup」
『That sounds very delicious。Mine here was Chicken and Egg bowl with soup』
「That’s very interesting。I’m sure its good since everything Yuki-san cooks is delicious」
『Thank you for your compliment。Please take a bath after this to cool your body off』
「I’m fine already。I’ll take care of my condition from now on」
『・・・Is that so。Then I’ll be going now since I’ll be taking a bath afterwards』
「Yes 。I wish you sweet dreams」

Incidentally、this is the first time I’ve had a phone conversation since I’ve bought this smart phone！Yuki-san is the only contact I have on this phone by the way。I also have no clue about that popular application called ＬＩＭＥ too。 Though I know that its a message exchanging application but I have no friends and my phone’s capacity is already full so I didn’t even try to download it。
Yuki-san also isn’t good with techie stuff and I heard that it also took her best to learn how to use a phone so she gave up because it wasn’t necessary for her。

「A smart phone is a gaming machine。This is the truth for a loner。Since I’m also a gaming machine！」
(TLN: Which also means he’s a gamer which is the pun and I’m not good at making or translating puns)

Well I should stop this stupid monologue and start with washing the dishes。The things that I only had to wash were tableware and I only had to put in mild hot water in the tub。
While thinking like that, I started to wash the dishes while waiting for the tub to be filled。

「Other than that、that was pretty unexpected of the student council president。Well its best that I didn’t concern myself with that。If I meddled on that then I would be involved with troublesome things」

Oh！My timer for that bath just rang。Since I’ve already finished washing the dishes here then shall I got take a bath next。

This mild hot water truly feels good that one’s tiredness really flies away。I feel like I’m falling asleep already。Though I’m not feeling like I’m gonna fall asleep but it feels more like I’m gonna faint any moment。Well that doesn’t really matter。

「Then shall I sleep early for today。I’ve also made Yuki-san worry about me today too」

I stood up from the bath、changed to my pajamas, dried of my hair with a hair dryer & proceeded to the altar before going to bed。

「Mother、sister・・・I’m going to be a 2nd year High-schooler starting today。I’m sure that many things might happen from now on but I’ll be lazily doing my best。 Okay, I’ll be going to bed now。」

I turned the lights off、went to my bedroom and fell asleep on my bed。

I confirmed the time right now with my clock that it was ５:４５ in the morning without leaving my bed。Though I had the feeling of a need to get up early but since my body isn’t awake yet then I still couldn’t move。Well since it’s throwing out the garbage day today then shall I go out to do so。In-taking the early fresh air outside would be a good way to awaken my sleepy body and brain。

Though I said that but a single man that’s living alone wouldn’t have that much garbage piled up。I can’t even fill up a single garbage bag by myself。Since the dumping place is just a single minute walk from here so it won’t take me much energy to walk there。Of course I won’t be able to pass by anyone since it’s so early in the morning。Well that’s better for me too。

「Uhmm・・This is the burnable side while this is where the plastic goes」

I neatly divided the trash & proceeded to going home but there was someone near my house。

「Good morning」
「Fufu、Good morning Yuuki-kun」

I listened to the voice & looked at the person’s face。

「Saeko-san?」

It was my neighbor Harukawa Saeko-san。Though she’s not just my neighbor but her daughter is also the same age as me and even goes to the same school as me。Though her daughter really hates me to the ends of the earth。Its been already 5 years since she started to hate me and I’ve recently learned to not give a fuck about it。

「Yuuki-kun really wakes up so early。I hope that my daughter is also like you」

Though she said that while giving off a bright smile as she placed her hand to her cheek but you wouldn’t even think that this person is a mother of a high school girl。Her appearance is beautiful with her wavy loose brown hair。Though her eyes were big and vigorous but if you looked at her whole face then you couldn’t deny that she is truly beautiful。

「It’s good to see that Saeko-san is also energetic today。I’ll be excusing myself then」

She said so in a clam tone so I reluctantly stopped walking。

「Nope、she still hates me as always。Well I don’t really care about it anymore so it’s already fine」
「I see・・・I’m truly sorry about that。I’ve made you stand here for a while」

She had an apologetic eyes for a while there。An apologizing beautiful woman is still beautiful as always。
