I thought I'd still be around the lowest ranks amongst Paragons . Seems like killing those two protectors of the Ancestor Mother Religion gave me quite a push up the list . '
On the newly formed Cosmos Deity-Demon List…
The first rank remained with the Bloodshed God Emperor . Considering how unfathomable his power was, it would be unlikely for him to budge from this spot .
Second was the Abyss Primogenitor .
The Primal Master was third .
The positions of these three experts seemed to never change . Before Pang Yi's breakthrough, the other five Rulers all specialized in one specific aspect of cultivation, so the gap between them and these first three was quite evident during a real battle .
Fourth, Pang Yi .
Fifth, Purgatory Ruler .
Sixth, Temporal Island Lord .
Seventh, Myriad God Palace Head .

But most of those ordinary Paragons had already lived very, very long lives, some having lived far longer even than the Bloodshed God Emperor himself . They had countless experiences, opened many Daos, and comprehended all sorts of laws of profound mysteries . They had researched the vestiges of the previous cosmos epochs and understood all kinds of techniques .
It was accumulating power over such long periods of time that allowed these ordinary Paragons to become extraordinary . Most also held great treasures!
The Overlord of Destruction, for instance, was now but an ordinary Paragon, but he had once been the teacher of the Bloodshed God Emperor! It was quite likely that the Bloodshed God Emperor wished to repay him for that guidance he received . Just how many treasures would he have on him, when taking that into account? Even though he would normally be ranked towards the back amongst ordinary Paragons, he still held the 25th position .
Overall, Xue Ying was roughly smacked in the middle amongst ordinary Paragons!
And that was solely because his Dao of Mirage gave him such strong survival capabilities . However, despite having no real qualifications when it came to suppressing the other twelve ancient Paragons ranked behind him, being able to kill two protectors of the Ancestor Mother Religion represented that he had some methods when it came to battle and slaughter . It was because of this information that he received such a high rank .
'Disciple Brother Hui Ming is quite formidable himself . He jumped all the way to the 65th position as soon as he broke through . Ruler Pang Yi's cultivation technique is indeed mystical,' Xue Ying inwardly praised .

Even though Xue Ying remained relatively calm and happy as he parsed the list, many of the experts across the Deity world and the Dark Abyss were exceptionally astonished at the sight of it . Hui Ming had transcended after formally accepting Pang Yi as his teacher, and was able to push himself all the way up to the 65th rank . The crowd was shocked, but they still felt that they could accept this . After all, the news of Pang Yi becoming a Ruler were already known by virtually everyone .
Until now, Hui Ming was the only one to successfully cultivate Pang Yi's technique, with the exception of the creator himself, of course .

As such, only the few apex Paragons and the Rulers knew about Xue Ying's achievement of killing the two protectors of the Ancestor Mother Religion . However, this meant that most powerful existences still saw Xue Ying as just an unusually powerful stage four World Deity .
Even though he had once suppressed Bamboo Saint using his pure strength, there had been quite a few similarly talented stage four World Deities in the history of the Deity world .

The Cosmos Deity-Demon List had actually placed Xue Ying amongst the ranks of Paragons, and right in the middle of them at that . His combat power was enough to place him above twelve other Paragons, which was simply incredible . Since the start of this cosmos epoch, the same thing had only happened once, in the case of the Bamboo Mountain Prefecture Master .

The only ones who obtained the list were the top hundred rankers .
The horizons of such people were much broader, unlike those stage four World Deities who thought the Bamboo Mountain Prefecture Master had managed to live so long because of his absolute art . Those ranked in the top hundred were all aware that the Bamboo Mountain Prefecture Master had opened a Dao as a stage four World Deity, and cultivated it to an extremely high realm . However, the weaker Paragons and ordinary powerful existences were still muttering amongst themselves: "The Bamboo Mountain Prefecture Master is an apex Paragon, and Pang Yi was able to compete against Rulers while not even being a Ruler himself . Even the weakest of the three, the Overlord of Destruction, accumulated enough of a foundation to land the 25th spot . But now that Pang Yi has become a Ruler should Dong Bo Xue Ying really receive a position as an ancestor? He is only 33rd on the list… making him the weakest of the three . "
A few people were feeling somewhat apprehensive since Xue Ying's weakness might pull down the status of the three ancestors as a whole .
