Chapter 3 – The Heroines’ Bloomer Figure

Mitsuishi Ibiza was walking with his hands on Maki and Rebecca’s shoulders.

She would shelter Miyako-san and Miyabi in her mansion for the time being. 

When the car that was driving Miyako-san was gone from view, Lizel-senpai glared angrily at Miyabi.

Also, Lovers is an arcana that is a bit tricky, or perhaps I should say peaky. There has never been anyone who can use it masterfully till now. 

Certainly......I’ve heard that Lovers has never leave behind a decent result. Bluntly speaking it’s the weakest they say. 

The headmaster folded his arms and nodded. 

In a sense that’s true. That’s why thinking normally this time it’s hopeless too for it. That’s what everyone think. But you see, there is a completely different factor that has never existed until now. 

And that is.... 

There is no precedent of human devil king candidate until now. That’s why, there is a possibility that something that has never even been imagined before might occur. Right

Well, when the weakest Lovers is combined with the weakest human, it might become something totally hopeless, the worst and the weakest candidate in history though!! 

The punch line is horrible after you made me held hope like that! 

The headmaster laughed ‘wahahahaha’ heartily. 

Either way you won’t be able to overcome the Devil King War by yourself. The battle ain’t gonna be decided by the candidates themselves. In the extreme case, even if the devil king candidate is useless, if the cards are excellent then he’ll be able to win to the end. 

That sounded a bit pathetic but, it also sounded like me in reality. 

Yeah......all of my cards are especially reliable too. 

Lovers are a bit different from the other arcanas, and you yourself aren’t a devil but a human. That’s why it’s fine for you to do things in a different way than the other guys. 

Different way......is it  

Devil king candidate and his cards are tied with simple relationship of interests. But, you guys have something else aren’t you  

Something else.... 

Something that was uniquely applicable for Lovers and also human......what could it be? 

If you form a relationship other than simple interests, you might be able to obtain something different. If you do that......surely your cards will present you the latent ability that they have. 

......I didn’t really understand the meaning of Headmaster Gandou’s words. 

Headmaster saw my expression and shrugged. 

But well, don’t think too hard about it. The point is you just need to beat up your opponent.

Right after that, I was driven out from the headmaster office as though to say that the talk was over. 

I walked alone through the corridor while continuing to think what the headmaster said.
