The next day, Huo Yao and Huo Yulin went to the airport.
The flight was scheduled for 9:00 am. Since there was no direct flight to the county, they had to take a shuttle bus after they arrived in the city at 11:00 am.
After they got off the flight, Huo Yao checked her phone and wondered whether to take the shuttle or a cab.
However, Huo Yulin said, “Yao, the car is waiting for us outside.”
Huo Yao blinked as she raised her head and looked at him. “A car?”
Huo Yulin took her luggage as he headed to the parking lot. “Uh huh. I rented a car.”
Huo Yao secretly nodded as she followed behind him. She was impressed by her third older brother for doing his homework.
Before long, they arrived at the parking lot. Huo Yulin looked around before pulling the luggage towards a jeep nearby.
A man was leaning against the jeep door with his head lowered.
He seemed to sense their presence and suddenly raised his head. The moment he saw Huo Yulin, his eyes lit up. His eyes briefly glinted in excitement when he turned to see Huo Yao.
He stood up straight and strode over to them. Just as he was about to say, ‘Young Master’, Huo Yulin glanced at him meaningfully.
Chen Ming caught Huo Yulin’s signal and quickly reworded his sentence. “Hi, Mr. Huo.”
Huo Yulin acknowledged softly before placing the two suitcases and a few boxes of gifts inside the car.
Huo Yao looked at the car rental driver quizzically. There was something amiss with his expression. He seemed to know who they were.
Also, she recalled hearing him say ‘Young’ before he corrected himself.
After Huo Yulin put the bags away, he turned to see the suspicious look on his little sister’s face. He cleared his throat and said, “Yao?”
Huo Yao looked at Huo Yulin as she pursed her lips and shook her head.
Chen Ming had already opened the back seat door with his usual reverence.
Huo Yao couldn’t help finding it strange. After she got into the car, she said softly, “Brother Yulin, where did you get this car from?”
Since the car heater was on, Huo Yulin took off his down jacket. “Hmm? What about it?”
Huo Yao raised her brow slightly. “The service is pretty good.”
Huo Yulin smiled when he heard this before he replied. “Uh huh. In that case, let’s rent the car for our trip back as well.”
Chen Ming felt deeply flattered when he heard what they said from the driver’s seat.
Before long, he started the engine.
They had to take an expressway for about 30 minutes to get home.
On their way there, Old Madam Yang called Huo Yao to ask how far along they were. Huo Yao could sense how happy she was even over the phone.
Huo Yulin sat quietly in the car and listened to her conversation with Old Madam Yang. He couldn’t help feeling emotional.
He had very little information about his little sister, but they had Old Madam Yang to thank for raising her into such an intelligent girl.
After all, Old Madam Yang was an uneducated old lady, so it was very impressive that she raised Huo Yao into such a good person.

Meanwhile, Old Madam Yang kept an eye on the time and realized that Huo Yao was almost home, so she couldn’t resist standing up and saying to someone inside the house. “Yu, I’m going out to wait for her.”
The moment she finished her sentence, she hobbled out into the yard and walked until she reached the end of the alley where she stopped to stare fixedly at the road. She acted as though she would see her darling granddaughter any second now.
After waiting for about 20 minutes, the car finally arrived.
