When Gu Ruxue asked the question for the first time, the teacher did not give it much thought, but when she kept asking the questions as if she expected that something happened to this girl, the teacher found her words more and more suspicious. He looked up at Gu Ruxue.
Gu Ruxue did not seem worried at all. Instead, she seemed quite pleased with what happened. The teacher soon had a terrible impression of this girl and put on a relatively serious look. He explained, “After she took the pill that Gu Chaoyan gave her, she is healing.”
Liu Hanxiang let out a sigh of relief. If something really happened to this girl, she would be unable to clear her name!
The other bystanders were assured too. They were all worried that such things would happen to them one day, if the girl was really killed.
Only Gu Ruxue shook her head with a look of disbelief. “That is impossible. She can’t be healthy again!”
That was such a resolute sound of speaking that it made Gu Chaoyan start to suspect her. She could not help but turn to Gu Ruxue and asked her coldly, “How could you be sure that something would have happened to her? Are you aware of the poison she had taken or did you drug her yourself?”
Gu Chaoyan sounded so straightforward and sharp, but judging from how Gu Ruxue reacted, the whole thing seemed quite possible.
For one second, many people turned to Gu Ruxue who stomped her feet and glared at Gu Chaoyan. “Stop your nonsense! Dad doesn’t like you because you have caused too much trouble for our family! Why did you try to make me take the blame? Do you think dad would like you even if you make me take the blame?!” Gu Ruxue snapped angrily.
The crowd turned their eyes to Gu Chaoyan again.
The teacher was very displeased to see the scene, so he said directly, “Anyway, Saint College will look into this matter and find out who the murderer is. You will all be told the truth.”
Gu Chaoyan nodded. She trusted that Saint College would stick to the promise.
Gu Ruxue stomped her feet and said nothing more.
The girl who shared the same room with Liu Hanxiang was still lying in a coma on the floor. She probably did not have any maids with her, otherwise she would not have been left alone here.
Then came some students from the Medical Department who carried her away.
“Just go back to your own room now. Come to the teacher whenever something weird happens.” The teacher said as he spotted Liu Hanxiang. “Liu Hanxiang, you have to come with us.”
Liu Hanxiang had just let out a sigh of relief, when she stiffened.
She said after hearing the words, “Sir, it was not me! I did nothing! She is my roommate, why would I drug her! I would simply make myself become the suspect directly!”
The teacher ignored what she said and asked the staff to take her away.
The whole yard quieted down.
The crowd was disbanded and Gu Chaoyan and Li Yuanxiang left together. The two just came to an empty spot when Li Yuanxiang asked anxiously, “Chaoyan, do you think Liu Hanxiang did that?” She was pretty aware that Liu Hanxiang was someone who liked setting people up!
Gu Chaoyan shook her head. “It was not her! That is not something she would ever do, I think”
