"Don't attack! It's me, Sky-Devouring Snake . " The voice of the Sky-Devouring Snake echoed from afar .
Qingfeng Li was confused to hear this familiar voice, as he thought it was a sea monster . How did the Sky-Devouring Snake swim to the bottom of the ocean?
Soon, the Sky-Devouring Snake reached Qingfeng Li . "Are you okay?" it asked him .
"I'm fine," Qingfeng Li shook his head, "We've got to get out of here . "
"What's the rush, we're at the bottom of the ocean . "
"Little snake, I've stolen one of the Eastern Sea Dragon Palace's treasures . We need to get out of here . "
"Treasure? Okay, let's go quickly! Hurry the f*ck up!" the Sky-Devouring Snake said upon hearing this .
As an ancient spiritual beast, the Sky-Devouring Snake knew that a Dragon Palace existed at the bottom of the ocean .
The palace was destroyed during the Great Ancient Battle, but the Dragon King didn't die; he was just badly injured .
Thousands of years had passed since then, and the Dragon King must have built himself a new palace by now .
The Sky-Devouring Snake feared the Dragon King, since a starving camel was still bigger than a horse . If the Dragon King were to come out and pursue them, they wouldn't be able to escape .
Qingfeng Li and the Sky-Devouring Snake quickly arrived at the abyss .
Devilish, horrifying energy surrounded the abyss, as black monsters flew in and out .
These black demonic beasts were all tainted with devilish energy, as they were beasts from the devil realm .
The Sky-Devouring Snake opened its mouth to create a giant whirlpool, sucking in all the monsters to create energy for itself .
Qingfeng Li stared in awe; this snake was incredible, devouring black monsters like it was just another Friday night, even when they were filled with devilish energy .
After devouring the monsters, the snake led Qingfeng Li onwards . About 50 meters across the abyss, it suddenly stopped in its tracks, a grave expression on its face .
Furrowing his eyebrows, Qingfeng Li asked, "Why'd you stop?"
The Sky-Devouring Snake shook its head and said, "I can sense a giant devilish monster up ahead; it's waiting for us with its mouth open . "
Hearing what the snake said, Qingfeng Li looked forward and there, in the abyss, was a devilish monster .
The monster's body was at the bottom of the abyss; they couldn't see its head, but its mouth was 50 meters long, taking up half of the abyss .
Its body and mouth were black, just like the color of the abyss . Normal people wouldn't have noticed it was even there .
It was a good thing that the Sky-Devouring Snake reminded him; if Qingfeng Li continued walking, he would drop right into the monster's mouth .
"Little snake, how are we going to get pass it?" a bit concerned, Qingfeng Li asked the snake .
He knew nothing whatsoever about the underwater abyss .
He also didn't know anything about the monster, only the Sky-Devouring Snake knew .
"These devilish monsters are bottom feeders of the Dark Abyss . They eat all sorts of creatures, so once we feed them some sea monsters, they'll go back into the abyss," the Sky-Devouring Snake explained .
Qingfeng Li nodded; they'll be fine as long as there was a solution .
Qingfeng Li retreated from the abyss . He quickly captured some sea monsters and brought them back before throwing into the ground-hugging demon's mouth .
The snake was right; once the demon ate all of the sea monsters, it closed its giant mouth and retreated back into the abyss .
Qingfeng Li looked at the Sky-Devouring Snake gratefully . He never thought the snake could be so helpful .
Qingfeng Li and the snake passed through the abyss and continued on to the surface of the ocean .
Travelling at a fast paste, they soon reached the surface .
Thankfully, the passenger ship was still there waiting for them .
Flower Fairy smiled in relief as she saw Qingfeng Li emerge from the waters .
The others were all delighted to see the pair come return safety as well . Somehow, Qingfeng Li had become the person who held their group together, and they were all uncomfortable without him .
"Qingfeng Li, are you alright?" a bit concerned, Flower Fairy walked over to Qingfeng Li and asked .
Qingfeng Li played an important part in Flower Fairy's life . She often thought of him, and worried that something would happen to him at the bottom of the ocean .
Smiling, Qingfeng Li answered, "I'm fine, but we really need to get out of here . "
Everyone agreed that this was a dangerous place . Quickly, the captain started the ship, and they were gone .

The Dragon King's wife was having a birthday party, and everyone who attended was either powerful, had high status, or were regional overlords .
They were all powerful masters; some were half-step Spirit King Realm masters, others were already in the Spirit King Realm .
Injured by immortals of foreign planets during the Great Ancient War, the Dragon King was still recovering in seclusion, so he did not attend his wife's birthday party .
The gorgeous Dragon Queen looked as if she were only 30 years old – her skin was as white as snow, and her lips was as red as blood . Elegant and poised, she had on a dragon robe and dragon hair pin .
"My lady, I heard that many historical relics and treasures have been excavated, does that mean that we are close to returning to our former glory?" a giant sea lion asked .
The sea lion's fur was gold that shimmered in the sea, and its ears were like bronze bells . As a powerful Spirit King realm monster, it exuded horrifying energy .
The Dragon Queen laughed, "Did you forget that a war erupts once every five thousand years? The Millennium War is about to begin . "
The Millennium War?
These three simple words struck fear in everyone's hearts .
